Ondaatje Bungalow | Yala National Park | Sri Lanka

Ondaatje is one of the few bungalows in Yala national Park, maintained by wild life department. Prior reservations has to be made by the wild life department in colombo at least two months earlier due to high demand f these bungalows. The place has 10 beds, 8 of them are at the balcony and 2 in 2 bed rooms. The wash rooms are manageable but can be crowded with moths, insects and frogs at night. There are 2 persons from wildlife department at the bungalow and they'll cook for you if the goods are provided.
There's a lake in front of the bungalow and herd of dears and plenty of crocodiles can be seen and a friendly wild boar around. At night a wild elephant was roaming around the place, pretty harmless and would give you a memorable night experience if you stay in there.

Thank you for the lovely video. It was a nice surprise to see my Son's Leopard Photo (Lance and Lucas - the first one on the left). Nice to see "Sudda" 😂(the wild boar) too in the video! We always enjoyed staying in Ondaatje Bungalow every time we visit Sri Lanka. Hope to visit again soon! 😍
