Love your xb12scg. I have a 2003 xb9sl.We have owned it for 2 years and I doubt that we will ever sell it. Recently had a collision with a deer and the insurance company totalled it. The insurance company only deducted 500$ of the value when I decided to keep it. They said that the parts were not available, but Jutin at St.Paul H D. had them on the way in a few days. Love the videos. Ride safe

As a fellow bueller i can tell you that you're going to want to get a big bottle of blue and red loctite. These bikes like to shake parts loose. I have the older verison of your bike, xb9sl, and love the looks of the low bikes. mine doesnt look as big as yours though being that im 6'3". I subscribed and looking forward to future videos. Soon you'll be rotating the motor and doing base gaskets like it's nothing
@JoyonaBike3 жыл бұрын
Thank you, that is something we've been wanting to do is go back in and add loctite. Thanks for watching!

I really liked this video. It’s cool to see people who are necessarily experts, working on their bikes. It’s funny though cause our next video scheduled for tomorrow morning, is about working on one of our bikes. Lol.

This is known as a comfort kit. It's designed to pass more air over the rear cylinder and direct it out the back, to aid in keeping your right leg cool.

Good to see a novice female biker do some diy mod work, well done! I have a question for the Buell owners world, I'm considering buying a Buell but here in the UK it is difficult to find a good one as they weren't sold in large numbers here. So, I've found a really nice XB12SCG 25th anniversary, and it's not too far away. Before I go any further with it though, as it's the lower version, would it be ok for a taller rider, I'm just over 6ft? And one more question, are there any known serious issues with the motor and trans that I need to look for? Thanks.

WOW your xb is so much cleaner than mine. My xb spent a lot of time outside in the rain apparently... but a previous owner DID install this part for me... my fan only kicks on when I pull into the driveway on a hot day and shut off the bike. Hahahaha
@JoyonaBike4 жыл бұрын
😂I'm looking forward to testing it out! I feel like once the fan would kick in, it would stay on more often than not during the rest of the ride. But only turning on once you pull into the driveway sounds like it does it's job!
@IanLandesman4 жыл бұрын
Joy on a Bike yeah I have never had it turn on while riding. When I first got the bike I was worried the fan was not working and bought a buelltooth module JUST to do the fan test.

@JoyonaBike4 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I have a couple pretty simple videos planned, but the way I see it is that someone out there will learn from them, just like they are with yours. And if you're the only channel (or one of the only ones) showing those how-tos then you'll be at the top of the searches!
@Supermankev20014 жыл бұрын
Joy on a Bike I think you hit the nail on the head I did one about putting chrome covers on my passenger floor boards it has like 600 views when I search there is only 2 videos I say just do you and don’t worry about it the video that does great is never the one you think it will be .i have one video with 43000 views and it took me 5 min and no editing lol
