Ex employee here! Good to see the Buffet open. All the rides are operational The log flume water is stored in tanks and take about an hour to fill. Inspections are current for both rides Hardest part of operating resort there is getting employees. When you have too many customers and not enough staff service seems bad. its not really bad it's just slow. would love to see the huge crowds again

We all know what happened to Desperado years ago when it threw a wheel. The flume ride had state inspection signs last time I was there. Both rides have been SBNO for years. Do you think they have any chance of reopening? I'm not asking facetiously, I'm a fan and really want them to work again. But honestly, is there even a chance?

I would go again if I was in the area. I think if the price came down by $2-3, it would be super worth it, because of the stand out dishes. After tax and tipping we paid $60 (for 2), which felt high. I'm also down to try Sunday brunch.

I think for about the same price on the weekend, I would go to Southpoint for the weekend brunch. They have bottomless champagne and mimosas, and their prime rib is excellent. I saw your video on Southpoint breakfast (which is excellent, and a bargain at $14). You should go back and do the weekday dinner or the weekend brunch; which have prime rib. Also, the Friday seafood is worth it too, if you can navigate the long line to get in.

I fully agree with you. Southpoint is still my favorite. I think Primm is worth a stop if your driving by and are hungry. The price, I did feel was just a little high. Even $2-3 dollars less, I'd feel it be very worth it. Especially because there was zero wait for anything. I don't have any big complaints and the staff was great. BUT, Southpoints value is on point. You may have a bit of a line though.

Coming from San Diego and stopped and Buffalo Phil during the summer. We were hungry but the Denny’s was closed and it was so empty. Wish they had the rides there. Good to see they reopened it. When we went there was 2 cars outside and 4 people inside. Hopefully they are able to attract more customers.

Fantastic video you guys. I will never forget stopping there on a Fall night (Tuesday) in 2009 and our truck was one of only 7 vehicles in the parking lot. Ghost town-literally. Played slots for a little, tipped our waitress 3 bucks and she was so grateful. Sad times.

Hello Dani, The actual food selection on this buffet and the attention by the staff keeping the buffet stations clean and full appears to be a definite plus compared to some of the lesser Strip buffets such as the Luxor or Excaliber. Yes, it would be a nice quick bathroom/ lunch stop for those driving to Vegas. I will be staying Tower Suite for 7 days at Encore end of Oct 27th thru Halloween until 3rd of Nov. Already have reservations at Delilah and Sinatra and will do the Wynn buffet. You did a nice Video with your commentary, driving out there to Buffalo Bills, (which reminds me of a vacant shopping mall) and your husband did excellent filming! Thumbs up! 👍

I remember Primm when it was called State Line. I only drove through it a couple of times in 1995 and 1996. Too bad the roller coaster and flume ride aren't operating anymore.

I love State Line always have and i remember the video you did there around the time when they reopened so it’s great to be back but I just wish the roller coaster and log ride were working because its been a hot minute since I’ve see them working, now the buffet didn’t look to bad with all the food you showed and with the food you showed my favorite was the Mexican and the desserts 🍨 but what I was thinking was I wished they had all the food out and the buffet just cost one price and what I mean is have breakfast, lunch and dinner items out so people would sure get their favorite foods like my favorite food of the day breakfast and if i remember right you said in one of your videos that breakfast is one of your favorites anyway it was so nice seeing State Line again so thanks for taking a trip out there, now with that I can’t wait for another great Vegas adventure peace ☮️ out ✌️

Stuffed Cabbages! I love stuffed cabbage because it reminded me of my family's Vegas outings back in the late 70's and 80's as a kid. The buffets would always have stuffed cabbage and I would always stuffed myself with it. Now, stuffed cabbage is a rarity in Vegas buffets.

Hi Dani, oh those tamales looked good. I learned not to watch a Dani video on an empty stomach. The deserts looked like they were shipped in. Don't get me wrong, a supermarket or mass market carrot cake can be delicious!, but it's odd that a buffet would actually bake them that way. so I'm calling shenanigans there. But the rest of it was obviously genuine and surprisingly... good!
