Fair review. I think I'll go for the nostalgia of it all. I remember going to the Luxor in the mid 90s with my parents. My dad has since passed, so going to casinos like Circus Circus, MGM Grand, Luxor, Sahara remind me of our trips to Vegas. Thank you for sharing this review. The salad bar did look fresh. Not as many options as I thought on the salad bar though. I think just do to the website stating it was very large. It was big, but a little bare.

Excellent review. I find the Excalibur next door to be a better buffet . You can also get a 2 for 1 myVegas.

Haven’t had the Luxor buffet in many years. Was OK then, still looks OK now, but that’s what I think they’re going for. Nothing super special but decent offerings at a somewhat decent price. Not everyone wants to spring for the high-end buffets, so as long as you know what you’re getting at Luxor, you probably shouldn’t be disappointed. If you can work a deal in to cut the price, that’s definitely a plus. Knew we could depend on you for a fair review. Thanks Dani and Eddie.

I have not been to the Luxor buffet since I was a kid in the 1990's. But I thought the food looked delicious. I'll definitely give their buffet a try. By the way you ran over five miles today? Wow! I only run one mile a day and I get exhausted! Your nickname should be Dani the Wonder Woman! 👍

Haha thanks! That was my short run. It was so darn hot that day, that I couldn't do my normal miles. I've been running for a long time though. That day just happened to be brutally hot and I wasn't ready for it.

Good review. liked their buffet. The prime rib is good. It was convenient… our legs were tired. Booths were comfy and clean, the staff is friendly. Not crowded. We paid the fair price, plopped down and pigged out. We were not expecting fine dining. Pleasantly surprised. Agree, ‘home style’. Good & big variety. Fresh. And yea drink specials. Not ‘five star’, but truly all totally good by me. Cheers!

First I must give it up to you Dani for being able to run 5 miles in 100 degree weather your a true champion and I also workout every morning and I walk 6 miles on my treadmill and I’m on a weight loss journey and so far I’ve lost 37 pounds and I hope that one day I can be as fit as you and Eddie anyway I thought the buffet looked really good especially the breakfast and I must say your first plate looked great with a lot of the same items I would have picked and your dessert plate also looked good so i would give that buffet a try if I’m ever in Vegas also you said it had that home town feel to it and what’s funny about that is just down the street from where I live there used to be a buffet called Home Town Buffet and it close because of the pandemic, well thanks again for another fun time in Vegas, peace ☮️ out ✌️

Very good presentation for the Luxor Buffet! I've been there a few times and actually stayed there.. im not a huge fan, mainly because of location being way south on the strip.. rooms and casino in general could use some upkeep. . But for the money the Buffet looks like will do the trick.. Everyone always bashes Excalibur but in my opinion the Buffet is as good if not better.. (just me)🙄🤔.. also watch running in 100+ degrees!! You should know better..lol.. Another great video from you!

I like the Excalibur buffet too! Honestly thought it was pretty good. Nah Ive been running for about 10 years. Im doing 8 miles in 100 degrees weather now that I'm acclimated which just takes maybe two or three runs. That day I filmed was the first hot day like that in a while. it was a hard work out but nothing I can't do.

That depends on the park. Theme park food is normally not so good and also expensive. I hardly let myself get food (unless it's sweets). Epcot would be an exception.

I’m a recent viewer but happy to have found this channel. You have a lot going for you that is not reflected in your subscriber numbers, especially your natural delivery which most LV vloggers don't have and try to make-up with editing. The content is very good but you’ll likely do much better with a “Vegas”-related channel name so people can find you. The videography needs a bit more professional polish (mostly the lighting, which in some videos can look a bit harsh outside and underlit and unfocused inside but also a few too many close-ups). Those are just a few impressions from one person so I could be wrong but regardless, I wish you much success.

Good for you getting to use a local's discount at that buffet. I'm honestly suprised locals get discounts instead of the tourists who already have to spend extra money to travel to get to Vegas + pay for hotels unless they stay at a friend or relative's house.

I come form the era of when buffets were king. Considering how few there are left on the strip and how unbelievably expensive the higher tier ones are (Bellagio, Wicked Spoon, Bacchanal, Wynn), I think Luxor offers a huge value for what you get. Especially if the goal is to just fill your belly and gamble all day, it's a good value. Also, good for you for your 5-miler 🏃‍♀🏃‍♀

I know the Luxor buffet gets a bad wrap. But it looks more like a diner buffet, its not over the top waygu bs buffet, but decent. Plus i like the idea that i can get an all you can eat tomato soup and grilled cheese.

I wouldnt mind going back. I honestly wouldn't pay the full price myself but I think the locals discount is worth it. I'm down to try more and while it's hot since when I film, I take to much time and my food gets cold lol.

The 2 for 1 on the My Vegas app are very good as $31 is a bit much for a buffet of that quality. There is another one on the app for The Pub at the Luxor. I had the best pizza I have ever had in my life there.

@@Dani702 Oh wow... bummer. I had wanted to go to that one specifically back in 2006 on my first trip to Vegas but the line was way too long. My grandfather and his brother used to stay at the Nugget twice a year when I was a kid and he would always tell me about the buffet and bring back napkins or something else with the logo on it. I finally got to go in January of 2020 and I liked it. It's too bad if it did close.

I was thinking $30 is pricey but I mostly because I have hard time eating a big plate in one setting. If your ready to eat and consider 2- plates of full of food options like breakfast foods with cravings stations, juices that don't charge for refills, desert at the end .. and nothing was flat out bad. It's not toooooo bad. My last trip to Walmart was way over that and I felt like I didn't get to much. But then again, the Southpoint is much better priced and the food there was great. I guess the convenience of not having to take an Uber down to an off strip location also should be considered. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Everything is pricey these days. It's all wacko. Lol.
