my dad would take us to Chrystal beach 2x a summer i loved the funnel cakes haven't had one in over 50 yrs i'd kill for one i can taste one now dad would sneak some fire crackers going home

Interesting movies. What it also shows is how segregated Buffalo was in those days. Almost all the pics of are happy white Buffalonians. Which is fine. But there were black Buffalonians too, and other than working in some of those nice restaurants some of these people describe, it doesn't seem like there was too much "mixed" socializing in Buffalo. For what it's worth.

Wasn't it a super small percentage compared to now? I thought it was something like less than 5 percent compared to now which is something like 30 percent. I could be wrong but I thought I heard that somewhere.

in the 60s buffalo was a nice place you could sit on your porch and walk to get a pizza with your girl we kept the rif raff in the projects the cops watched em like a hawk if thery got outta hand
