Basically, while out of combat and mounted, your pets gain a speed boost and cannot body pull. I've had the same happen on the third boss area of Nokhud. If you had sat on your mount until your pets caught up you would've been fine, but because you entered combat so did your pets, which allowed them to body pull. In this specific case, your pets have to path around the normal way, which is why they were late and body pulled the pack

This is also the reason why in Necrotic Wake, if you want to skip the pack before Amarth by going around the pillar on the right, you need to mount up as a Hunter/Warlock as your pets will go around to the left and pull if not mounted.

And it's not even just the CD... it's the fact that it's a stun also. If you try and silence a caster to pull them in to the tank they just stay out stunned and then when the stun ends, start casting again. Feels bad.

ive always understood that once you're in combat the pets will body pull even if they're running towards you in passive mode. I've definitely seen this not occur but I always try to make sure my pets finish pathing to me before I go back into combat

Kalamazi when do you use implosion? Is it worth holding off on Tyrant if you can implode on a big pack, or is Tyrant always priority?

Implode when your oldest imps are about to expire. I would always tyrant even if you have a ton of imps, because that will do more damage, and then you can STILL implode them after tyrant expires, as their duration gets extended/frozen until tyrant ends.

Regarding your wa more specifically the demonology one I seem to have alot of issue with the icons not being updated at all. Be it hound, dogs, grimoire. None of the icons seems to be updating correctly

I've been pumping on demo in 10s for the past week, like 1.7-1.8m overall if the tank does some phat pulls in Mists or Necrotic, 1.5-1.6m on some of the sparser dungeons like Dawnbreaker. Fun times. I think Grimoire Felguard kinda sucks still, nice for bosses but it sometimes doesn't line up depending on the path the tank takes, so I might opt out of it for a more consistent overall.

Cool, so you ended up with the same build I landed on. I cant get the same consistency out of umbral blaze and imp mother as I can with fel sunder even though all the math suggests it should do better. I was playing it with Dread calling though, may work better with shadow invocation... more testing to do.

I would like to to get a quality of life and get tyrant be instant cast and dogs. That would go a long way in making our spec quite a bit more mobile! The doom guard having a kick would be nice too! Demo just needs some love really!

The part where someone mentioned the issue with your weakauras always showing on other characters if on a different class, I’ve had that problem before too, I actually stopped using your weakauras pack because of it so, it’s definitely a real issue

I feel like Grimoire still isn't as impactful as I'd like for Big Tyrant/dmg. With the buff to dogs I feel like dropping those talents for grimoire/felguard talents, you're lessening your impact overall. Yes dogs are a 20sec CD but having Flametouched+Dread Calling I think is more impactful overall. I know how you pulled that pack. It was your fire dog ive done it too its aura pulled the pack. Ive also pulled the sleeping guys in grim butthole with fire dog. Ive made a macro to dismiss him when i go for a gateway or run past a close pack.

Yeah...from my testing it's only good for pure single target fights in raids, because of the extra boost it gives to tyrant via reign of tyranny.

It's a burst option as opposed to passive damage, For instance a huge pull it does a lot of damage with its felstorm. Or when coupling it with a 40 stack spymasters & tyrant.

You can only apply Doom if the target didnt have it. If you use demonic core on the Doom target, it will reduce Doom duration.

Every class/spec looks decent on a +10 because of the affix stat buff. Try to run a 12 as lock and you'll see the real issues with warlocks

@@alienzm5212 Sure no issues, what about having to stand still +3 seconds summoning your pet when dk/hunter can do it instantly, 3 sec bres and druid/dk can instant cast it or other classes can bres with a shorter cast time, no real mobility outside of preplanning your portal or killing yourself with burning rush, being stuck with a pet just because it's our interrupt (most of our dps as demo with felguard). But yeah no issues with locks at all

Problem is demonology will literally be useless, when playing against actually good players, on higher keys. Good effort though. I think warlock is doomed this patch, we can only hope things will improve in next tier.
