Oh god, I just realised that I actually remember Albrich used to move a card to the top of your deck and boost it. And people used him with Roach sometimes. Jeez, I'm old

Well Purify + Heatwave is the way but if you don't have it I have the best success with medium length round 2 and 3 so they can't build up that much on the engiens. It can be hard if they get the Cultist scenario off though.

Hyperthin is great but starts to be less fun against other ng decks. If the opponent messes with your deck the strategy can fall apart quickly.

Definitely which unfortunately makes it pretty annoying to use since NG is so popular.
