Spinning crane kick nerf does matter because it basically kills charred passions talent choice in favor of dragonfire brew. Both interact with s3 tier set as fire damage but charred passions adds fire damage to spinning crane kick which does less now.

Sure sure. We create a 2nd slightly weaker DH tank (no grips)…what about the others? Lol the issue is DH just does everything better than the “niche” tanks…it controls casters better than the kick king himself paladin…and it grips better than the grip king DK…and after monk nerfs it will also DPS better than the dps king for tanks. We either have to give similar levels of control to all tanks or reduce the number of casters that need to be constantly kicked…but still keep the mobs threatening to a tank /group by requiring a well timed stop or something.

Illuminated sigils was a big mistake and they should just get rid of it. They already have silence, chains and fears all on aoe, and now you double it, what a joke

As a prot pally I made a DH just to push higher keys. The amount of cc is insane and dps a cherry on the top

they can keep it but just for the offensive sigils .. And maybe sigil of chains ... Fear and Silence is a bit too much I feel like they should make all the tanks have range interupt or AOE silence now ... Just to be on the same level as VDH ... Also potential adjustment to DH would be if sigils always go on top of them if they take the double sigils talent .... That way they wont have RANGE AOE SILENCE ...

With how dominant VDH has been for so long honestly, the spec needs some serious adjusments to now only sigils, but tankiness/dps as well. Rdruid is also more than 50% of healers in high keys, how is this ok? MW was nerfed for 13% and Hpal for 25% back in the day. Maybe another 5% nerf? (And maybe some minor healers buffs ?) And like every week, still dont understand how Mage and Shadow came back despite all the mess they did back in S2.

I main(ed) fury for a long time, since Wrath, the most fun I've had with the spec was season 3 tier set, since one of my favorite abilities to use is Odyn's Fury. With how the set and talents played together it felt awesome to just charge in and go ham! I hate the season 2 set bonuses, having to set up a weakaura to keep track of the set bonus is just pure crap, this is the first time not maining my fury warrior since Wrath, feels terrible!

Yup, after I put my new four set on (gaining 10 ilevels) I started doing much less damage as well. Season 3 was much better.

Crying for ret nerfs is actually wild when SO many other dps are overtaking us in damage. Why should I be nerfed when I’m not even S tier damage anymore and an outlaw can pull similar - higher numbers than I can and nobody is saying nerf outlaw? What about destro pulling 4-5mil dps on large packs? Spri pulling 1mil dps consistently? Bm pulling 2-3mil on trash pulls too, when we cap out around 1-2mil tops on MASSIVE pulls? It’s insane how ret finally does damage after like 10 years of being F tier and everyone and their dog is crying for nerfs. Pathetic

ret should be like bm because both take literally negative skill. if you can press 4 buttons and have 3 functioning fingers you can do good damage on either spec. thats why ret/bm shouldnt be peak dmg dealers or close to it. they should be at max top of the middle of the pack. simple as

Ret is certainly a bit extreme right now though. They are basicly immortal, even more so than mages and rogues, at the same time they are doing absurd amounts of both aoe and single target damage, having their cooldowns up every minute and last but not least their support abilities for the entire team. Its just too much in one spec so tuning down damage or survivability is certainly called for. Dont forget they are one of the specs that also gets the most broken weapon in the expansion. So yeah, its really not a debate at all.

@@aaronlorenz9869 A majority of specs in the game are literally braindead, what are you even on about. Even spriest is easy in the grand scheme of things, and offer just as much utility or even more. Ret doesn't offer enough utility to warrant it being dramatically behind in damage output. They're not Aug evokers or designed nearly like one. Rets damage is exactly where it should be. Their damage isn't even sustainable on longer larger pulls at higher keys. Not even a Meta spec and you people still find ways to whine about it. Go touch grass.

Because of equinoxmonk running his yapper on X bragging about his fully kitted 522 monk doing a ton of dps. He played himself and in turn the entire class. Lesson learned here: stay the F off social media about your dumb flipping "look at what I can do" posts.

Really? How tanky are the others then? On my Brew I went into a +4 with 480 gear, and I did not need a healer. My overall healing taken from the healer after the dungeon was 10% from passive stuff only. Feels fine to me so far, and more magic mitigation will just improve that. I am sure other tanks can do without healers as well, but my point is that survival does not really feel like a problem.

You obviously dont shuffle , 3v3 and 2v2 veng the nerf was huge to pvp. They gotta buff the other tanks LOL. i have a 55% winrate in shuffle with veng same as every other spec its defiantly not op in any way it can be countered easily like every single spec

Nerfing ret would be idiotic. Theyre doing less dps than many specs. Peoples obsession with getting Ret nerfed is moronic. Balancing the game around "Average keys" is exactly how you enforce a meta at the top end. Theres only 7 groups currently with a ret in the top 100 timed keys, and a OVERWHELMING amount of mages, spriests and evokers. But yes, nerf ret because our feelings get hurt when we suck and get below the pink line on details.

At this point vdh will never go out of the meta... they should just give a 25% dmg buff to all tanks -pally and dh. Plus they should buff other healers - druid and just do a 15% dmg nerf to spriest

One thing is perfect balance, and another is a one sided meta. S1 and pre 10.1.5 S2 had more variety. If they keep making changes consistently it could be achieved.
