The linear gun improvement you suggested is a good idea imo. It makes more sense for the gun cooling mechanic to work like that on a vehicle that is generally on the frontline, firing as often as it can.

Also, bouncing missions with Tanks that cant be penetrated hull down is harder, becouse enemy dont even try to shoot. If there is a pennable cupola, then it baits a lot of bounce.

i got the Type 63 last year and as a beginner player i used to really like it with a very reliable gun, but as i got better the lack of dpm started becoming an issue. when the heavy line dropped it was excited at first, but after inoticing how underpowered the top tier is i decided to not go for it. but now this looks awesome. i will start grinding the line soon for sure.

I'm reminded of the Kpz PE 07, that assembly shop heavy tank While it is not as accurate as what the Type 71 will be after the buffs (generally you have a 0.28 accuracy, though I have a build that brings it down to 0.26) it is still a VERY accurate heavy tank, so I can't wait to get my hands on the 71 and have some fun with it

I think another tank that falls into this category is the Rinoceronte in terms of weak spots (still needs a HP and dpm buff to be good but that’s not the point) The rino has a weak spot that’s easy to hit but also easy to hide by raising the gun a little bit. But The fact that the Rino’s weak spot is on the osculating gun means i you can’t shoot back while protecting your weak spot. If you can shoot the enemy, the enemy can shoot your weak spot which i think is fair and balanced design. It’d be nice if more tanks were like that.

@@illhaqu777 it’s my most played tank and it’s lacking just enough to not feel nice. You call it a “medium heavy hybrid” but it only goes 40kph (without a turbo). It’s like if you took the worst aspects of a “heavyum” and put them together: Slow like a heavy, low HP like a medium, unreliable armour like a medium All combined with the bad dpm of an auto loader. I think the way the tank is on the Lesta server (RU server) is perfect. They took about 2 seconds of the reload of every shell and increased its HP from 2000 to 2300. It’s crazy that even after the nerfs the Minotaro is still a better heavy tank than the Rino (same HP, better alpha, better DPM, better armour, not that much slower). But honestly of they made the Rino a reverse auto loader (like the IS3-A) it’d be so much better without actually changing any of its stats.

i already three marked this tank and i loved it, i should have waited a few more months it seems lol. Tanks with gimmicks that arent broken are my favorite. One of the reasons I wish they never changed He mechanics because I used too play the sherridan a lot and fullpush fvs and only take 600-900 damage because of the spaced armor. Wz 132 is also really fun because its relatively heavy and has some turret armor (they should give it 9 degrees of gundepression and 70mm hull armor and 50 sides.)

I think having weakspots also means that opponents will make more mistakes, because they are actively trying to engage your weakspots instead of just not peaking at all because there is no chance to pen

I do wish they'd buff the damage just a bit, the DPM on it can be really bad when you're facing equally or more well armored opponents who are just a pain to hit. Honestly it's close range where it can be tedious. trying to trade capolla shots with a canopener who just has more to hit. So on more heavily armored enemies it can be a bit of a pain when they're just able to out DPM you because you're actually a well rounded tank.

Still, selling a tier X tank is just dumb even just because of the amount of credits that you lose on that action if you've bought that tier X for a full price and the balance can always change in the case the tank is weak. Tier X is always last in line so you can't just buy the next one with a higher tier since there is no higher tier. Never worth it.

Kranvagn is balanced in my opinion. The gun lacks accuracy, shell velocity and most importantly: penetration. Kranvagn has the same ''gold'' penetration as a tier 8 medium Mkpz 68. Surely, if you are in Westfield with no arty, peeking against an AMX 50 B, you will feel IMBA. The game is becoming more rock-paper-scissors with every patch. If you are in a Squall in Himmelsdorf, you'll bully the enemy ELC EVEN 90, but if you are in Malinovka, ELC will be the ''bully'' and so on. I guess it is not a horrible game design unless mm keeps giving you the least favorable maps with bad match-ups. It all comes down to MM, they need to make it better, both in terms of tank matching and at the least a little bit better player skill matching. I am not asking a league system like in Onslaught with many different ranks, all I am asking is put the literally mentally challenged people on a separate league. I come across a player, his entire strategy is do nothing, nothing, nothing, then drown after having dealt zero damage, I check his stats after the match, nope, he's not a beginner, he has over 90 thousand battles with 42% win rate...

I did not purchase this tank, in fact i went only for tier 8 , but from what i see in ur video the tracks mechanics is working slowly than type 63 the premium t8. This type 71 visible feels like it's lowering the gun to the maximum very slow so it makes it complicated to aim. If this mechanics were as STB are , would be a powerfull line to grow because of the flexibility . Doesn't feel like so?

I think they overbuffed it, a little bit. The new Type 71 has pretty much everything that the current E5 has + more gun depression, way smaller cupola, higher top speed at the cost of a worse hull. It became a slightly better E5, and that's okay and not in the same time. For all the time it was at the bottom of everything, it deserves some loves of course. But I'm afraid they will nerf it again as time goes by, people will realize it's now a meta tank that sits on top of most tier 10 HTs. This kind of balancing makes people grind for it and feel sad later on when it gets nerfed back to a more balanced state. This is really unhealthy and I know that a lot people don't like being treated as a donkey with a carrot hanging before its eyes. Kran was the carrot. It got overnerfed. S.Conq was the carrot. It got nerfed. 60TP was the carrot. It got nerfed. Now it's Type 71's turn. Oh well...

Its gun handling is not that terrible, worse than average of course but consider the alpha dmg, it's fine, at least for me 😂 It's a super HT with crazy armor that isn't slow, and all of its weaknesses can be fixed with equipments, crew perks, and field mods. I don't run ExpHardening because of the last field mod. Not even Stabilizer because its base stabilization is good enough to use ExpTurbo instead. And I want to maximize its mobility with Vents, yes, Vents increases turning speed, reduces Ground Resistances, and also improves everything else. This setup allows the 705A to be a more aggressive tank that can make certain plays and keep the engagement in its favor way more easily. When it has enough flexibility to make pressure instead of hugging the corner, it becomes a serious problem for the opponents because of its crazy armor.

Historically TDs were more about mobile guns with big impact...as long as the TDs either hit harder or have more penetration whilst staying more mobile, it would still be sensible but if a HT gets a gun that hits harder, has more pen and is still more mobile, that'd be questionable

Watch chems equipment video and you can equip any tank by urself afterwards. I rebuilt all my tanks 3 days ago when equipments were discounted and my results are at least doubled since then if not close to tripled

The buff of armour on weakspots IS a problem. Now you will need ~215mm of penetration on AP to penetrate them. This is exactly the average penetration of typical tier VIII heavy tank. This way any tank with lower penetration (stock gun, medium tank with weaker penetration) will need to use premium ammo to reliably penetrate weakspots (if they hit them of course). Useless change on tier X matches, but realy important on VIII matchups, where even these weakspots might bounce a lot.
