In this Slay the Spire gameplay, Baalorlord does an Ascension 20 run with Silent. First, he gives tips on choosing a path and a starting bonus. I think another good reason why late events are best in Act 1 is that several of the events just hand you an upgrade, which at the very beginning of Act 1 may force you to upgrade/randomly upgrade a starter card, which is way less likely towards the end of the act.

Hi Baalor, I lost my grandfather about a week ago, and on top of that I lost my home, my job and the love of my life within a 3 week span. This is the toughest time I've had to go through, and I just wanted to say your videos helped me so much to be able to relax and get my mind off of things. Especially during night time your videos run non stop so when I wake up every hour with a hole in my heart I hear your voice and realize it is safe to relax. I know you maybe never expected your presence to have such significance, but your yt channel is literally whats keeping me from going totally nuts during these circumstances. When I get back on my feet I will donate whatever I can towards your career, because your personality and calm composure is sometimes all people need to escape the inferno of terrible times.

I'm in a run like this right now. Got Sadistic Nature from Neow and Envenom in the first shop. Shivs do 4 + 1 poison + 7 from SN, plus Dead Branch from the first Elite. It's an absolute blast.

Hey friends, question about the Ascend 20 achievement, which is "complete Ascension level 20" I just finished act 3 on A20 with Ironclad (have not done it with any other character) and no achievement. Do you have to complete act 4 to unlock it?

I’ve found an interesting outcome yo saving and quitting in Slay the Spire, which is that often times the fight will be unwinnable, whether that be because the draw order was impossible or your deck was ill equipped, but always it seems that the deck was built wrong in some way. In other words, I was not prepared enough for that encounter

I don't think so. As it'd be envenom 2 being applied not envenom 1 and envenom 2, so the skull would only proc once. Not 100% on it tho.

@@vladthedragon8250 you are correct, they aren't two separate instances of adding poison, so it will only be once. Things like Flechetes, Eviscerate, Bouncing Flask, multihit stuffs like that are the only things that can multi-stack poison, afaik.

Apparently, this is a bug caused by the surrounded debuff when paired with weaken and strength down. So it can only happen in the Shield and Spear fight. Very good catch from you!

Hello, I'm a big fan of your videos! One thing I can't understand though, since you're clearly a thoughtful dude: when you think about the sound a heart makes, in onomatopoeia, why would you pronounce the first syllable of "tu-thump" similarly to the name of a deceased American rapper? Sure, the devs could have written it "tuh", but I think it's pretty clear. Anyway, back to watching more vids :P
