Great job on the brass zippo! I’m a big fan of the brass zippos. Very recently I dunked a black matte zippo into some acetone for 18 hours 😮 took a while removing the black coating though…. Wasn’t difficult just time consuming. The brass finish looked slightly tumbled which I thought looked good. However lol I did decide to give it a polish up and it actually looks damn good. Love brass zippos!

Hey man I come from a country where the brand of the compound you're using is not exist here. Can you please tell me what is the colour of the compound that you used on your zippo brass? The first one before the green compound. That would be amazing if you can tell me or just recommend me the non-USA-friendly compund brand. Thanks man.

I’ve got a brand new solid brass polished zippo somehow it has a few very light scratches probably from wiping with a rough cloth. What’s the best way to get those few light scratches out without hurting the rest which is perfect mirror from factory still.

Also my brand new high polished armor sterling looks dull compared to the brass and chrome ones is that just something with the silver or is it not polished correctly. They are all brand new never touched the silver was still in the plastic bag sealed with the orange sticker

I got model 29884 as my first Zippo, a tiger engraved high polish brass lighter. After less than a months of frequent use it's already starting to tarnish and is loaded with finger prints. I want to know for someone who doesn't have a buffing wheel is there any way to maybe spay and wipe the insert or a liquid I can let it sit in to get similar results?

Hey man, been watching your videos for a few days now and am loving them. I found my old Zippo from 2002 (just a simple brushed chrome model) last week after randomly seeing a post about Zippos on Reddit and caught the bug. I can't believe I never thought about doing customs before, when I bought that Zippo in 2002 I was working for a buckle company, casting, antiquing, enamelling etc.. seeing this video and the buffer just sparked my memory, was my first decent job. Sadly they moved to the other side of the country and I no longer have access to all the equipment, but just ordered a brushed brass 1941 replica and some brass British military cap badges (S.A.S & Intelligence Corps) from the same era to play about with. Have you put any badges/plates on a Zippo? I'm wondering if I should use glue or solder to attach them? I saw one guy using some T-7000 glue on another channel.
