We back at Demi-fiend on Vengeance. Breaking the game with the new demon passives, in OG it was the Adversity to 1 turn kill DF. No stat boosters have been used on Arioch, only Sutras to max out his physical to make this possible. His stats are high due to fusing level 99 demons into one that pushes the stats higher. Both Gogmagog & Arioch have the same kind of passive, Arioch pushes out more damage but you have to kill off the majority of the demons in stock for the damage to be boosted. The new Omagatoki - Strategize, is so broken combined with Arahabaki passive. Run down of the demon passives. Omagatoki: Strategize can pass/change demons as many times as you want (Need 2x Fairy Race to cast) Arioch: Damage boosts by each death demon in stock. Arahabaki: Buffs/Support skills ALWAYS applies to newly summoned demons (Impaler's Animus). Baal: Gives 1 press turn if received a de-buff from the enemy (good for Chu that cases Debil). Nahobino: Gives 100% evasion and half a press turn if evaded. Azazel: Gives Tarunda on party/enemy. Tzitzmitl: Gives Sukunda on party/enemy. Belial: Gives Rakunda on party/enemy. Amanozako: Reverse buffs from party from bad/good or vice versa. Dakini: Increases crit damage for all allies.

I want to thank you so much for providing the best possible solution to this nightmare of a fight. I couldn’t have done anything by myself because I tried countless time and I always lost. But now I applied your tactics and finally achieved victory. However, I didn’t have Belial because I didn’t chose Chaos so I had to cast Tandava first, which means I had to work with less PT Icons. But this is is hardly an inconvenience, I just had to give more Str to Arioch till he reached 150. Again, thanks for everything, you are the true champion.

Very impressive, I'll save this for when I get to Demifiend so I can use the same type of strategy on him. Will save me a lot of frustration rather than trying to slug it out with him. This one is also a lot nicer than another similar video I saw since that one used NG+ only demons as well as other things, but this one only uses demons that I'm pretty sure you can get during a first playthrough

Well Demi fiend is a human that become a demon, The Nahobino is a god true form but you start being very weak, same as demi fiend. I still believe Demi fiend is the Strongest SMT mainline protagonist even if the Nahobino in Vengeance has fought and beat 4 Superbosses including demi fiend but demi is like Meh whatever you won this one not big deal, plus Gaeas rage just insta kill you maybe in SMT VI when Nahobino becomes the super boss we could tell or worst both demi and nahobino as super bosses at the same time....

I think it’s the Nahobino because in Nocturne the final boss is Lucifer testing you and you don’t actually beat him, while in V you actually can beat a Lucifer that’s stronger than the Nocturne one

Any advice you could give me about how powerful my demons should be, please? (I mean, apart from the fact that everyone should be at lvl. 99)

You can cheese the fight as shown in this video, cheese the fight in other ways, or do the fight regularly. If you do want to beat the Demi-Fiend as """fair""" as possible, I think there are a couple of things to prepare: - Have your demons' stats reach above 100 in STR/MAG, AGI, and possibly LUCK to ensure your attack hits and hits hard. Either use Incense items or fuse the demons using high-level demon materials. If you have beaten Satan, you can raise your level beyond 99, up to 150 - Every demon in your stock and party need to have Abyssal Mask and Enduring Soul to avoid getting ailments and/or instant-killed by the Demi-Fiend's cheap move Chaotic Will. Also, Great Life/Mana Spring skills can be important if your demon is MP hungry and/or has too little HP. 600 HP should be the bare minimum of your demons' HP, or at least hovering around that number - Having Null Physics in two or three of your active party members is the bare minimum to waste away the enemies' press turn, and Repel or Drain Physics are even better (although both are locked in NG+). Do NOT have all your active party members NDR (null/drain/repel) Physics or the Demi-Fiend will spam Almighty attacks instead of Physical attacks - Many of your demons should focus on AOE elemental damages while the protagonist or other demons focus on the Demi-Fiend. Some AOE skill elements you should have are Dark, Light, Ice, Wind, and Elec to kill his demon minions. Always swap out when you see a demon enemy that NDRs your active element(s). It's even easier if you have Amon and/or Khonsu Ra to cover the Fire element because their respective skill pierces affinities, making them a staple for many situations - Speaking of elements, your offense demons should have Pleroma and High Pleroma skills of their respective elements. Make sure to increase their element rank using Sutra items as well - The best healing demon that should always remain active is either Idun, Pannagia Tao, or Konohana Sakuya because they heal AND provide stats boost in one move. In addition to Abyssal Mask and Enduring Soul, give them Great Life & Mana Spring skills and at least one Great Heal Pleroma to increase their healing potency - Arguably one of the best ways to bypass Demi-Fiend's Chaotic Will is to have an Avian demon (any Avian demon will do) in your stock. Once the Demi-Fiend reaches 80% health, 50% health, and 25-20% health, call in an Avian demon and activate the Avian's Magatsuhi skill to inflict Seal on his entire team which prevents the Demi-Fiend from activating Chaotic Will during those points. Once you do, immediately swap out the Avian into one of your offense demons to wreak havoc There are other ways you can beat the Demi-Fiend, but these are the general tips for the fight

Figment slash just has 50% accuracy, hit rate is also determined by luck and agility in comparison to the enemy's I believe. My yoshitsune was hitting figment slashes every turn without dragon eye. That being said just slotting in dragon eye should make it hit every time barring if the enemy uses a buff for their hit rate or debuffs yours

Not sure if it's vengeance canon exclusive but it's a tsukuyomi essence that gives those skills not an aogami, only played vengeance routes so far so if tsukuyomi is vengeance exclusive then the answer would be yes

Just go find a fight and pull your demons out and have Naho guard and pass all turns till the demons with Naho die (give Naho heals to keep him alive during this) Takes a little bit of setup but isn't really that hard
