Remember when ganesha was essential to beating this at lv80? Accursed poison saving our ass time and time again from mediarama? So glad they fixed level scaling.

what does ganesha do for level 80 vanilla strats? bucketgetter only resisted phys to prevent shiva from going into smart ai mode since shiva uses hades blast and akashic arts and once he finds out about your nulls he will use megidolaon more often and start going for impaler's. maybe cause resist phys still gives you more magatsuhi? or did buffie find a way to beat him at level 80 while still nulling phys?

@@KishinAubrey I believe he was using nulls in his stream. Ganesha was important because it made shiva lose press turns which was delaying shivas impalers, and that led to a loop of getting accursed poison which was also essential because that seals Ananta which actually saved the run numerous times when it tried to use mediarama on occasion.

How do you have boon boost ex? Also the outfit swap? Is Agrat from canon of Vengeance? I went for creation for my first playthrough

@@YHVH404 Yes, there are only two monsters with this Skill, Shiva (lvl 99) and Beelzebub (98)... so your option is to Fuse them to rank down to your desire monster, or level up them to take their essences. Since both are pretty high level, I think its worth to take one of the essences and Use in to your Elemental and register, because elementals can create anything with fusion :)

i wonder if this would be possible without fusion, grimoires, or demon statues on canon of creation since cleopatra and mephisto are no longer dlc and can be recruited once defeated i'd imagine they'd be part of the strat

Was able to beat Shiva and all but demifiend and satan on hard. I don't think I've seen anyone beat satan on hard I'm sure it's possible but the fight is absolutely brutal and one of hardest fights I've seen in megaten. I flounder for 30 minutes with a very strong endgame team and I do almost no damage and everything is very bulky so I can't stop the heals. I hope you can beat it at some point on hard buff.

@@quatrowr1280 I saw thanks to this comment. Thanks for telling me. Looks to be a pretty large amount of stat grinding in godborn as it's really easy to get incense and balms, all my attempts were hard ng on a fresh file and I didn't stand a chance ha.

I beat Satan on hard difficulty, but I did use some of the most overpowered shit the game has to offer. I played Canon of Creation first, thinking it was required, but it turns out the save file from the old SMT V would have unlocked Satan. Anyway, to sum it up -I was in new game plus -I used Sakuya(the DLC demon) and Masakado, along with the very strong Yabusame Shot Cerberus(press turn generator) from my original SMT V game -The game gives a ton of incense and grimoire(also because this was the 2nd playthrough) so I made a separate save file for them-I used the HP, MP and Vitality incense on Sakuya, and the Luck and Strength incenses to Masakado. I had 99 vitality and luck incenses at that point, so Sakuya ended up having a 200+ Vitality and Masakado 200+ luck. The other incenses were around 40-50. This was in hard mode Sakuya was capable of surviving Megido Ark (which for some reason Satan favored to target her heavily) as long as she was fully boosted and and Satan was completely debuffed. But as it turns out, that's not even the most op thing I had in my arsenal- In my first normal playthrough of CoC, I picked up Demi-Fiend's essense. I got his affinities and got an extra essence for good measure.(I already defeated him the more challenging way in hard mode several years ago without cheesing anyway, so I felt no qualms about beating him in normal mode lol) What really screwed Satan was Chaotic Will. There are videos on the internet utilizing Arioch's Avenger skill to kill him with little to no stat boosting item, as well as the evasion build from the Tsukuyomi essences. I did not like the look of set up with that thing. Also, Arioch is ugly. TLDR: I had access to DLCs, the NG+ gave me access to Chaotic Will and Masakado(whom honestly I only have beaten in Normal Mode as of today). NG+ because I thought it was impossible to get the Vengeance Superboss fight on a fresh file(I was wrong). Without DLC, the way I beat Satan should still be possible with Idun, but you will burn through your MP restoring items much quicker, and the fight will overall take much longer.

I was so consistently scared to fight shiva in original V . I barely beat him with a team and having to buff and debuff, also have Cleo was a blessing since frolic made him skip the first tandava …he lives up to god of destruction titles.

Omgg mee too I’m having such a hard time defeating him I’ve tried doing it countless times now and my team still gets obliterated in an instant especially because of that damn blue annoying snake Annanta😫😫😫

@ oh Anata, his weakness is darkness so I would try try gearing either one of the naturally dark proficient demons and instant kill it

@ that in of itself is impressive, he probably did research and calculated the most precise strats.

@@aliencrashedbyaccident2110 maybe the secret to beat him fast is to just constantly debuff him and target his weakness to ice but the problem is that I’ve got the Murakomu build for my Nahobino with a lot of almighty and critical boosting skills
