A pretty decent episode. Here we see Spike having serious head pains. Buffy is of course very concerned, and we also have to rest of The Scoobies wary now of Giles, thinking that he could have been infiltrated by The First Evil, as we never saw the aftermath of his attack in London. This is of course a Red Herring, as Giles is as normal. The interesting part of course with Willow being turned into Warren and being affected by this, with all the rest of the characters thinking it is Warren as well. Funny part when Andrew grabs Willow, which he thinks is Warren by the breasts, and Buffy punches Warren/Willow, and also when Andrew says 'why cant I come because I used to be evil', no says Xander 'it is because you are really annoying'. Kennedy is being very upfront and overtly sexual with Willow, and many fans did not like Kennedy, as they found her too forward and disruptive in the group. Amy was behind it all, and it is Kennedy who finds her out. Not a bad episode, but much better quality episodes happening in S4 of Angel at this time.

If we watched S3 through Amy's eyes we would be seeing Willow's S6 storyline play out. Except Amy stopped at the Rack part of the addiction. Willow went further down the rabbit hole addiction and everyone still loves her and Amy doesn't seem to have any close friends. She blames Willow for S6 because she didn't go as far as attempting to destroy the world. While I highly disagree with what Amy dd (even if she didn't know the specifics of what Willow's subconscious would do) I get the issues on Amy's part. She's not her mother yet, but she's well on her way, yet she hates Willow for doing worse than what her mom ever did. Contradiction is anything the Scoobies haven't also done (and I critisize Amy here like I do with their contradictions). Amy not having a support group is only going to make her worse. Its a fascinating situation I haven't deep dived. This is the first time I put even a little effort into what Amy's going through at this point. An unpopular theory in the fanbase, for me, is that I never had any Kennedy dislike. If there is a least favorite SIT, for me, it is Rona for having the "what's the point" we're all gonna die anyway attitude. Funnily enough, it is Kennedy who has the comeback against what the point" with, "its this end here (I think I butchered the exact wording of the quote)," as she points to the sharp end of the sword. What I find interesting about the Willow/Kennedy relationship is that Willow is going through the same thing Buffy was in the Buffy/Riley relationship. Willow and Buffy don't love Kennedy and Riley. The storyline doesn't yet show where Willow and Kennedy could go, but for now Willow is moving forward after Tara's death. This whole episode, and even moments since Kennedy arrived have shown Willow liking Kennedy but struggling to let Tara go and know how to still keep her in her heart. Both relationships of Buffy/Riley and Kennedy/Willow are about Buffy and Willow realizing and trying and actually moving on while Riley and Kennedy are starting something new. In-universe its been nine months since _Seeing Red,_ so the argument of it being too soon to move on since Tara, never made sense to me. Willow and Tara got together officially in _New Moon Rising,_ six months after _Wild at Heart,_ when Oz left. That is three months sooner than Willow and Kennedy and Willow and Tara were further along than Willow and Kennedy. I like the metaphor of what is happening with Willow. Although the Scooby gang act really dumb when they see "Warren." Buffy and Andrew, whether a punch or happy shock react in ways that immediately prove the truth. Xander, Anya and Dawn make me wonder why they are acting like rookies to the Scoobies gang. The fact that Andrew (who is a rookie in the Scooby gang) is the one who speaks up about The First needing to touch something to everyone after the moment when Xander get the phone call about Giles also makes me wonder again wonder why they are acting like Rookies. Although I do love that it all leads to the joke of Giles saying they think he's evil if he isn't touching girls to this day makes me laugh and think that the writers intended all of them to be purposely dumb as they should all know The First's lore off the top of their heads.

I don't agree with Amy's actions in this episode but Justice for Amy. She was a rat for years when she totally didn't have to be. Possibly to satisfy Willow's own ego about her magical abilities, possibly because they just forgot about her.

Yep Amy went from a nice schoolgirl to a Rat, turned back into a human and then went on to an annoying witch, almost as bad as her mother. I agree with you see does suck.
