Angel and Buffy had a love you wanted, they truly loved each other and knew each other; she was herself with him and he was with her, even with the reality of their relationship that they couldn't have a physical relationship. They loved each other unconditionally, they were soul mates. That's why it hurt so much when Angel went evil and then came back, only for Buffy to have to send him to a hell demension. It broke her heart to loose him, but it was the right thing to save the world. Then when Angel left for good and moved to L.A; Buffy wasn't the same cuz Angel took a part of her with him when he left.

And he left a part of himself with her when he left. Angel grew and changed a lot when he was with Buffy. Before her, he was an aimless wanderer punishing himself for all the horrible things he’d done. Buffy showed him he wasn’t worthless, that he could do good, make amends and was worthy of love. Angel said it best: “In all those years - no one ever mattered. Not like she did.”

This is so romantic because when Angel and Buffy were together they could be themselves without the need to hide anything, because they accepted each other as they were and although their nature was different they had managed to understand and love each other; the proof is that when Angel shows his true vampire face to Buffy he doesn't want Buffy to touch him, because he thinks she sees him as a monster, but the best of all, is that she doesn't care because she loves him too much. This makes me feel very happy because it reminds me Darla telling Angel that if Buffy was going to understand him and when he showed her his true face she was going to kiss him. So when I see this I think....poor Darla you don't know what are you talking about... look at this!!!! Really they deserved end up together until the end, when they broke up that broke my heart because more than once they showed understanding, belonging, respect and support each other and they loved so sincerely, passionately and intensely that nothing else mattered, their relationship was surprising because it was spontaneous and unique in all senses and when Angel went to L.A and left Buffy, any of them were the same, because despite the distance they missed each other, they needed each other and every time they met we could perceive the love, the desire and the longing they felt for wanting to be close to each other even without touching because their bodies spoke for themselves. In their respective TV shows,they always gave us understand that no matter how far apart they were and the people who they were, they never stopped loving each other. And their feelings never diminished with the passage of time, they were stronger. Finally the distance, the complications and circumstances no were obstacles for them. So their love was true love. Angel will always love Buffy for whole eternity. And for Buffy her only true love was always Angel. This is a great love story!!! So the vampire and the Slayer together, Angel and Buffy Forever!!!!!
