I’m very interested in how Vi will handle battles like the Leaf bug ambush because as we know she has only one mutie-target move and it is kinda meh.

Doubt it'll be that bad honestly. Can easily knock out a single Leafbug per turn with Maki's help.

You can get abombinations BEFORE the Crisbee quest! I thought it was just a one off item.

Yeah and it's weird considering even basic items like Yam Bread are locked before taking on Crisbee's quest, but Abombinations are available as early as Chapter 2.

True Kabbu Only: There is a mod available on Gamebanana where every party member except Kabbu has their HP set to 0. This means that Vi and Leif cannot be used as HP sponges, and Kabbu will be hit with EVERYTHING. Makes the first few turns a bit harder, makes Kali even more impossible.

I finally started playing Bug Fables in December 2023 and it was just such a charming, fun game to play, especially given how low I'd been feeling for the whole year. Somehow, it's even sparked me to start writing fanfiction again, a hobby I just lost my enthusiasm for for a few years. I love the characters, love the story; I sincerely hope there'll be a sequel set in the Northern Kingdom or Eastern Lands, something like that. Also Kabbu is my favourite. Truly best beetle boi. ❤

I dunno man, if you're keeping Leif and Vi alive in some battles taking some damage themselves, I think it would have been fair to actually allow them to rely on Kabbu and even use items themselves.

If that's how you want to play, sure. But it'd have made the run way too easy imo, and there really wasn't much I could have done since I can't start the fight with both of them KO'd. They would have taken at least some damage away from Kabbu regardless.

8:33 how the heck can you make numb bombs while you are in the honey factory? i thought there were no cooking spot in the factory..?

You don't need the honey factory's shock berries to make them, Agaric Shrooms work as an alternative. Preparing in advance is key.

I understand why you kill gold zeedlings early on But to me it feels like if you gonma do that you could just do kabbu only at max level and with max money So i personaly dont like it

That would be really slow, really boring and then the game would be very easy to beat. Where would the enjoyment be for either side?
