This was such an amazing game and experience. Although heavily inspired by paper Mario, I never really thought to myself that It was too similar. Bug fables is it's own game, and a great one at that. Shoutouts the the composer who composed some of the best game music I've heard in a long time. If a sequel is happening, I'm picking it up day one.

Man, what a fantastic game. I was grinning the entire time. So many magical and inspired locations. Fun and challenging boss fights. Interesting and charming characters. Surprisingly deep lore. And tons and tons of content. An absolute joy to play through. I always love when credits themes act as a stroll through all the events of the game. So fun to musically reminisce. Love this game, love this soundtrack. Thank you for all the fun times. Cant wait for it to come out on switch so all my friends can experience this awesome game!!

Anyone feel as though this could have used a few spirit battles in Smash? Just thought about a few. Vi: Toon Link who constantly uses Side Special and is equipped with the Tanooki Leaf. He is also distracted by items. Stage is Distant Planet. Kabbu: Slightly small Incineroar who favours Up Smashes and can turn invisible. Keldeo will appear as a Pokémon. Stage is Garden of Hope. Leif: Ice Climbers that favour Down Special. They also like to shield against attacks. Stage is Shadow Moses Island. Wasp King: Simon who uses Neutral and Down Specials and slowly heals over time. He also has greater attack power. Entei will appear as a Pokémon. Stage is Brinstar Depths. Can be evolved into Everlasting King who has a skill of Autoheal. Feel free to suggest any other ones or agree/disagree with mine.

I think Zasp and Mothiva should have spirit battles as well, since they’re also important characters in Bug Fables. Maki would also be a spirit as well. And for the Vi spirit, I guess boomerangs would constantly drop as well, is that right? Also, what music would play for each battle and how many stars would each spirit have? Just curious. Other than that, this was very well done, and I totally think you should send this to Nintendo and maybe they’ll do a Bug Fables spirit board event. Who knows?

I'll start off by saying keep the boomerangs as items but also many other items will appear for the Vi spirit, as they already have a chance of dropping in as items. Now as there are a bijillion songs to choose from, you may disagree with me for some of these. Same with stars. Just considering the difficulty of them all. Vi: 2 stars. Music is Main Theme - Pikmin 2. Kabbu: 3 stars. Music is Boss - Miitopia. Leif: 2 stars. Music is Cavern from the Metal Gear series. Wasp King: 3 stars as his EK form would be 4 stars. Music is Tabuu's theme from Brawl. Now for the other suggested ones. Zasp and Mothiva: Team of Wolf and Jigglypuff. Jigg's feet attacks have increased power and also uses Up Special but not to a major extent. Wolf likes to taunt but on a similar level with Jigglypuff and is equipped with the Jetpack and Lip's Stick. The main objective is to defeat the main fighter being Jigglypuff. If Wolf is defeated, then he'll appear again with 30HP, and will appear again if he is defeated once more. Stage is Boxing Ring with the music being Fatal Blooms in Moonlight from Kirby, however although it isn't in the game I would prefer Metal Sonic's theme remix from Sonic Generations. I know it's kinda stretching it but Zoroark could be a Pokémon during the battle instead of Wolf appearing, but I'll leave that for you to decide. 3 stars. I was tempted to say Peach for Mothiva, but although she sings, it's part of her taunt. Maki, Kina and Yin: Roy is Maki. Sheik is Kina. Robin is Yin. Roy has increased sword attack power and increased movement speed. Sheik has increased defense and sometimes uses neutral special, while also having increased attack, to compensate for Sheik's lack of power from her attacks in general. Robin tends to avoid conflict. I know this is something that has never happened in Smash spirit battles before but if Robin is not defeated, Sheik and Roy will keep gaining increased power and defense. Robin has 1 stock. Sheik and Roy have 2 stocks, but during their second stock, they have less HP. Lastly, normal attacks aren't as effective against the enemy. Stage is only the marketplace area of Garreg Mach Monastery. Music is the battle theme from Pokémon Diamond/Pearl. 4 stars. Also tempted to use Cloud instead of Roy and Zelda instead of Robin. Make what you will of it.

I’ve never seen anything like it. this game is so memorable and amazing I can’t put it into words. it’s been an entire year since I first played the game but I still remember every moment like I played it yesterday. So I played through bug fabled it’s instantly one of my favorite games! I if you’re reading this and haven’t played the game, go and play it! If you have played bug fables, go on and recommend it to others! This was a wonderful experience and I’m glad I still have a small handful of quests left and I’m so glad i picked this game up! I hope that a bug fables spin-off or sequel will happen, because I want to experience this all over again! So please spread the word of bug fables so that it can gain a larger following. Bug fables is sooo underrated. It’s music? Incredible. It’s dialogue ? Amazing and in my whole experience I’ve noticed only ONE typo... I’ve seen more in triple a games! and don’t get me started on character design! I mean just LOOK at the cast! The story was beautiful, I almost dropped a tear at the end when it was over because I wanted more content. I can’t wait to play the rest of the quests in the game! Also Leif best boy

This might sound cringey but I think after playing this im not gonna see bugs in the same way again, today I saw an ant with wings fall off my lamp so I let it go on my finger, opened the window and let it go, I used to have the phobia (or fear) of bees before, now im not really scared of bees anymore and I enjoy when I see bees around because I know they're smart and that they dont sting easily (only if you directly start annoying them or attacking their territory since bees are territorial), im still scared of wasps and cockroaches though

I think the leitmotif, the song/short track used throughout the game (which is basically the "Night at the inn" track) is strong at the end. I too had a similar experience with the game, outright smiling when credits rolled. I never really had as much fun as this game. The story is great, the gameplay was tight, even with the few backtrack moments. The dynamic within Team Snakemouth... all of that combined made for a fantastic experience

It's such a wonderful summary of Team Snakemouth's whole journey and all the added flair / concurrent melodies stacked on top of each other just create this amazing feeling of finality. Wait I played this like 3 years ago and just realized this song exists!? This is so awesome!! Like... usually when I finish games I want a remix/medley of boss themes or any songs that played really, and I try to find if anyone has made anything. Usually it's just a mixed bag of remixes. But Bug Fables really just said "we'll do it ourselves!" and it fucking slaps. Thank you devs!!! I wish more games would make a big hurray of the musical talent at the end.

I am so ready for more, just finished it again but with the ultimate hard mode menu code. I would love to see team snake mouth go to the other lands (eastern and northern). Hell i wouldn't even mind new characters and like team mika you can fight team snakemouth at the end! Ideas for new team could be a wasp (heard the devs talk about it), a roach (for magic) and a spider (maybe for the pierce. We have seen spiders with being, the wizard being one). I want to know more about the guardians! Roach lore! And just the world in a whole.

What an amazing game. Truly the Paper Mario we all needed since the 64 and TTYD days, the story,characters, character development, combat, and just everything about this game was just absolutely great. It’s like Paper Mario but sometimes better and more then just Paper Mario,This is a game I would totally recommend for those who are itching for that old school Paper Mario action or people who never played a Paper Mario game before ever in their life. And I would totally love a sequel to this amazing Bug filled adventure, who knows this might be the new Paper Mario series but just more refined.Overall great game,Seriously people get on this!
