Thanks Emmett. Ya I’m going for the old barn or old shop look. It’s way more work than I thought it would be but it will be worth it. Thanks!

Wow, that back wall looks fantastic, can’t wait to see the entire shop finished. Can’t believe I missed you at bug jam, would have been nice to chat fir a bit. Glad things are moving along nicely. Have a safe holiday if we don’t chat before then.

You did great at the swap, those are some impressive finds! It's cool you're trying out the Z-bar; will be doing the same for Dweezil. Maybe we can compare notes once both are installed. But that wall... wow. That looks great!

Thank you! Yes the z bar will be interesting to see what improvements it makes. I know they came standard on 67-68 bugs. They also went to a smaller rear torsion bar for those years as well for compensation for the z bar to work. I’ve read it helps with downward movement only like if you have a load in the car. So I’m hoping with the smaller torsion in my 68 it will maybe increase the handling a little bit. Who knows?

I like those low back seats! So that’s what the Z bar looks like off the car! That’s a really nice color, is it VW factory color, the 68? Wow those headlights were a good score! They look clean! Hmmmm was thinking about doing my garage floor with a coating this spring. Yours looks good. Wow that wall looks really nice. Gives it a country feel. I’m hoping to make bug jam next year. I’m in pa so it will be a haul. I was just telling Gary jawbreaker about that recently on the phone. Happy Thanksgiving if you don’t post by then! 🦃 ✌🏻
