Here is the unboxing video of the Bugatti Carbone Smartwatch collaborated with Viita. This is the first smartwatch made from Carbon. Battery life is great, the touchscreen is very responsive, and the packaging is the most luxury I have seen of any watch.

Love it, but can you give me an idea on the length of the straps, I had the original Bugatti smartwatch with Ti bracelet and neither that or the Silicone strap were large enough for my 210mm wrist !!! Had to return it unfortunately, after waiting over 1 year for it !! 😢😢

Seen lots of negative reviews on this watch . I am interested in purchasing one though concerned about quality having been built in China. Does this feel like a quality product and worth the price tag .

Every smart watch is made in China except the Tissot Solar Connect. This was definitely very high quality, the video reflects the experience, the macros reflect the finish. It’s a solid piece.

Given your appreciation of the Tissot Connect, and acknowledging that only hybrid smartwatches can be Swiss Made (besides the TAG E2), any reason why you still do not review the Frederique Constant Vitality?

If a shop or manufacturer is willing to send me one for review, I’m happy to do so. Unfortunately, none of the stores I deal with carry it, the brand never got back to me, and it’s not the style of watch that I would purchase for myself. @@DougFNJ Thank you for the prompt reply. I do not have it, and I was counting on your review to purchase it. Strangely enough, there are almost no reviews on the internet - other than the press coverage the week it was released in 2020. And yet, there is seemingly quite a demand, perhaps due to its dressy look and the fact that until you press the crown, it looks like a regular upscale-ish mechanical. It was the first Swiss Made hybrid smartwatch (before the Tissot) -- the type of smartwatch that the Swiss have a chance to invest in (at least for the 'affordable luxury' segment). Anyway, I'll keep hunting for a review...

I had the Bugatti one with 3 bezels ...sold it right away the software was terribly bad And it's too big looks like tag first edition

The updates have made the OS smoother, the size is definitely personal preference.

I would stay away from anything made by Viita. I own their previous "luxury" smartwatch, the Titan HRV. While the watch looks great, the firmware and the app absolutely suck! There hasn't been a firmware update since I received it...nothing but silence from Viita. They never even fixed the bugs the watch came with.

It looks nice, but what is the point of building a watch out of carbon fibre, which will last for decades, on a watch that will be out of date in 5 years? Its the same pitfall that ultra premium smartphones like the Vertu range had.

I’ve always believed a Watch being out of date is relative to the Watch continuing to function and meet one’s needs. That holds true with any tech. My wife uses a 13 year old MacBook Pro and has no intention of upgrading. At the same time, the prices on these compared to watches with mechanical and Quartz movements are much lower because it’s a processor and OS instead of a movement. Put a mechanical movement in this case, they’d likely charge 3 X more.
