You should know these cons about the Grand Seiko SBGA413 Shunbun (quick owner review) | vlog 18

I hope my title wasn't a clickbait because I thought these quirks should be mentioned widely. Or maybe I didn't know any of these because I am new to watches. Either way, do what you will with my complaints, and thanks for watching.
The last time, I talked about buying #grandseiko Snowflake #SBGA211 was when Ethereum hit $4000 a piece in 2021. I almost sold two ETH for a watch. Fast forward 3 years, I finally stopped making random excuses and went into the store to find a GS for myself. Ultimately, it came down to two watches -- the #SLGA019 and #SBGA413. As you can see, my requirement is 40mm, titanium, and Spring Drive; the rest can speak (or show) for itself.
The SBGA413 seems like the most popular watch on Reddit for obvious reasons but I wish we could discuss the negatives more. Because, for me, it is not about how good something is when I purchase expensive items. When I buy something I want to know what the downsides of these items are compared to other options because nothing is perfect and it's all about tradeoffs.
A video about “should I buy SBGA413?” that is full of the negatives of the watch is definitely needed. Although, I bet other people probably have harsher criticisms that I didn’t mention in the video.

Funny thing is that regular vlogger gives more info than from watch bloggers, cheers, great watch nonetheless, IMO besides Rolex - this one is cutest!

The bracelet also feels more 'plasticky because titanium is not nearly as good a conductor of heat, so when you put the watch on it does not feel cold like a steel watch and bracelet.

Right, I don’t think it is a big deal but I wonder if it’s because I never had a watch with micro adjustment so therefore I don’t see the need for it. GS’s reasoning is apparently because the clasps and buckle is smaller and there for look cleaner and smaller. That was their “design choice”

Great review, despite any flaws, just no other watch with such a unique dial. Have you seen the new(ish) SLGW003. The case back is just as beautiful as the face, with the most pleasant manual winding experience.

That watch is amazing. Yeah manual winding means thinner watch as well. One thing I notice immediately is the uncapped second hand… this is what I’m saying, no watch is perfect

I’ve heard some people say they can feel/hear the rotor rotating in the watch as they move around their wrist. Have you noticed any noise? Really want one of these but I’m very picky about noisy watches 😭

Oh! Yeah it’s definitely audible. Btw, talking about sound, the winding of the crown doesn’t sound too good either. It sounds a bit high pitch lol. Almost sounds cheap. You should really go in and try a few. Videos dont do justice on how awesome they look. Plus you probably want to hear it yourself!

This is wear most kids are getting it so wrong. For 5k usd u should be experimenting. Buying at least 8 watches all kinds dials and then seeing what your GADA watch is. Always do thay. Focus on seiko, zeppelins, citizens, casio, tissot, timex and Orients to name a few. Get a diver, pilot, sports, aviator, cocktail, chrono, auto chrono, moon rotation and all that. Experimenting is key. I am in my 40s and my daily are now swatches seikos and tissots and that's it. The others I rarely ever wear
