@Jazz4Lifetime3 жыл бұрын
I'm used to drive 120+ mph on the Autobahn. I'm used to it ever since I got my license in 1985 and my first car, a used but fast Merc. I'm used to it on a daily basis. By countless experiences over the last 36 years I might dare saying that going 200+ mph by day is nothing less than irresponsible. There are plenty of jerks on the road, driving even a fast BMW or Merc who think, that no one has the right nor the ability to overtake them while going 150 mph themselves. They will pull over to the left lane, just because "I'm going 230 km/h. That's fast enough for everybody!" You can, however, drive 200+ mph on a German Autobahn. At night, with cars at least 5 miles ahead, giving you the clearance that you won't crash into an idiot like described above. Driving a super-sportscar like the Chiron at this speed is running around with a fully loaded and armed weapon. One tiny little slip, and all hell breaks loose. 🤷🏻♂️

@@Jazz4Lifetime you need to drive such cars to realize even if someone come in front, he was at all times in control. you know the feel of your car what its capable of
@Jazz4Lifetime3 жыл бұрын
@@kinjat561 You might be aware of the physical boundaries of your vehicle if you are a F1- or NASCAR pilot. Especially if you are driving on a circuit. When driving on a public road like one of our Autobahns totally different rules take place. The unpredictable rises far beyond your knowledge of what your car could do, because YOU wouldn't be able to act accordingly. Going 300 km/h means, that you drive 83⅓ meters per second. Even with a short reaction time of, let's say: ½ a second you would have been driven more than 40 meters before you would even get your foot on the break pedal and/or turn the steering wheel to avoid a dangerous situation which - unpredicted! - showed up right in front of you. Then the old wisdom rules again: You can break any law as long as you don't get caught. You will be caught, sentenced and punished immediately whenever you break laws of nature. You can't mess with mass and velocity or energy. You always be the loser. Trust me, I've studied physics.

@@Jazz4Lifetime agree but its not as dramatic as you think, i drive very frequently hanover berlin route but 2 cars that i own all max out at 260kph and i can tell you Audi with soft suspension feels much less stable to control at those speeds and M550i drives in full control, but of course the more faster more riskier it gets so i gully agree to what you say

In fact, the majority of accidents in Germany happen on Roads with speed limit, including the few parts of the Autobahn that have a speed limit & not at high speeds. Most of these accidents happen at normal speed and a vast majority of these involve truck drivers from both Germany but also other european countries while travelling through Germany Prost & Cheers from Bavaria

The majority of Germans would be OK with a speed limit of 150 (I personally don't want a speed limit of 120 or 130 either, but I believe 150 is a good compromise). The truth is, that even I you ride carefully, it is extremely dangerous to have cars that ride 250+ on the left line, while the rest of the traffic doesn't go faster than +/- 150 on the other lines... Drivers don't expect it get surprised and it is extremely dangerous for the rest of the traffic... Just imagine if someone wouldnt have looked in the mirror for just 5 seconds and wanted to take over another car while the Bugatti in the video above comes closer with more than 300kmh... The Veyron was an acquired taste in the looks department, but Bugatti really nailed it with the Chiron, and the super sport looks even better with the longer rear. While it's mostly true, wait til some EV's can do the 0-60 *in less* than 1sec. Some *already* manage to do 1.5 on a actual EV car. Dragster's already do less than 1sec. So it's not impossible, at all. Now, imagine in the future with some *crazy/insane technologie.* And it's coming from a *big ICE fan,* but this is a fact.

Anytime I watch a review of the Bugatti Chiron, the excitement on the journalist face makes me excited. I’m so happy to see this car actually get driven hard like it’s supposed to, to hear it being revved, and not by someone at Bugatti who is too afraid to show what it is capable of. This is a special video and you won’t find another one like it on the internet. I can finally say I like the Bugatti Chiron not just because of the numbers it had that I never got to see in action but now I can see it’s character.
