Bugera 333XL head sound test - Neogeofanatic (Full HD)

MY OPINION : I'm not a pro in tube amps, but I bought several months ago this Bugera head. Now it's time to use it !!! :p I think it's very beautiful, very shiny with all the nice chrome, like a Harley Davidson ^^ This amp has a modern sound, a clean channel, a "crunch" channel (but heavy metal type) and a lead channel, with very high gain. The price is very affordable, and there's no suspense anymore for me : the sound is SO FUCKING GREAT !!!!!!!! I REALLY am impressed by this head !!!!!! I have to wait a few months more to have an opinion about the durability, but the sound blow me away !!
GOOD POINTS : AMAZING SOUND !!!, very affordable, 3 versatile channels
BAD POINTS : the knobs seem to be a little bit cheap, but nothing more...

MON AVIS : Je ne suis pas du tout un spécialiste des amplis à lampes, je peux meme dire que je n'en avais absolument rien à faire, mais il y a quelques mois déjà je me suis acheté, pas trop convaincu, cette tete Bugera 333XL, et MY GOD !!! QUEL SON !!! J'ai peut etre les oreilles trop habituées aux simulations, mais en tout cas je suis satisfais à 2000% des sons de cette tete, n'est ca pas le principal? ^^ Tres abordable au niveau du prix, on peut tout jouer selon moi, un tres beau clean, un 2eme canal crunch tres musclé mais bluesy si on le souhaite, et un 3eme canal qui arrache. Je sais que certains se moquent de Bugera, moi ca me fais bien rire..... Cette tete arrive au niveau des Mesa et autres tetes hors de prix, la fragilité??? Bah si dans 5 ans elle me claque entre les doigts j'en rachete une, ca fera toujours 4 fois moins cher qu'une Triple Rectifier !! xD
POINTS FORTS : un son MA-GNI-FIQUE, et je pese mes mots, un prix imbattable, une vraie personnalité.
POINTS FAIBLES : les boutons en facade sont peut etre un peu fragiles, mais je n'ai aucun souci pour le moment ^^
MA NOTE : 19,5/20
Test réalisé avec le micro de la caméra uniquement, pour bien montrer ce que l'ampli vaut sans les chichis de Cubase ;)

This Amp is awesome, I own the 333xl infinium model. Videos on youtube do not do it justice. Hear one in person connected to a good cab, you will fall in love.

I bought this head and matching 4x12, If you get the full half stack brand new, the cab speakers will probably need time to break in, Ive noticed over the past few weeks the its sounding better, when i play loud. its usually 5 master and 5 channel volume, I push it here and there. 5 to 6 master and channel volume is plenty enuff to be heard over drums and make your statement as a guitarists. Great amp for the dollar. Im glad that I invested in Bugera.

This is great, beautiful amp, great playing, good all around display. One thing i really enjoyed about this was you showed everything about this amp not just the Massive overdrive most people were probably wanting because i like the clean

You will not regret it. My friend with his Mesa Mark IV felt embarrassed when I played my Bugera against his Boogie. This amps are underestimated. It does better than my Marshall DSL for 7 string stuff and sounds just as good. Still like my Marshall on certain things though. Pick one up!!!

mxkt77 No you don't need to add extra distortion pedals if you do it would be because you want to have many different sounds. I mostly use amp distortion even if I own a big muff and a blackstar HT Dual. The integrated noise gate does an excellent job and really feels natural.

Mine was the infinium. I also have the 6262 combo and had tons of issues with it. Finally I've purchased the 5150 III and thats quality!!!

Gotta mention that those Bugera amps give you a LOT for your money, but it's quite hard to make them stand out sonically in a pleasing fashion next to higher end gear like Mesa, Engl and Bogner.

I have the Infinium (non XL) and love it. Just doesn't have the top boost, but that can be achieved with pedals easily. Great demo, superb playing.

Apparemment, tu comprends le Fr. D’abord , mon chapeau pour ta dextérité équivalente à Van Haken. C’est absolument impressionnant, on dit Schredder en anglais, i think. Mis à part ce formidable ampli , quels cabinets utilises tu car au moins je serai sûr de ne pas faire d’erreur dans mon investissement. Just picked one up as I could NOT believe the price! So now for two days I've been playing this thing and inspecting it PCB board to tolex! trying to find whats wrong with it because it sounds so unreal... I gave up today and accepted the fact, there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with it, and for the price of a set of tubes It sounds better than my peavy, marshall, and could it possibly sound better than my Orange head??? Maybe!!

No cruch in those heads, gain is not saturation, i have a satchirator for that lmao. My brothrr loved it at first, now complains there is no crunch and like my mts3200 better, but thats why i have owned it for 10 years.

ive got the 333xl 2x12 combo and i love it the clean channel is REALLY clean the crunch has a bit more bottom then you could ever get on the lead channel and is a good rythum tone channel the lead is where its at though itll rip your face off the reverb goes from barely their to holy shit my only complaint is the built in noise gate is completely worthless and the amp really shines when you crank it at bedroom volume its decent but its when u push the volume that thebamp truly wakes up.

Je ne dirais pas que c'est l'ampli qui mérite un 19,5/20, mais plutôt toi, pour ton jeu guitaristique. Je joue sur des amplis bien plus onéreux que les tiens mais pourtant je ne t'arrive pas à la cheville. Franchement Bravo tu est un excellent guitariste.

ton argumentation est très bonne, Bugera est pas mal sous estimé du fait que c'est une marque très jeune il est difficile de savoir si ça va tenir dans le temps, après je suis pas forcement fan du caractère des ampli de cette marque mais la c'est question de gouts perso, tant qu'il y a du son et d'après ce que j'ai entendu ca le fait bien. Il faut quand même reconnaitre que les amplis lampes en général dégage beaucoup plus de chaleur et de dynamique que de la simu malgré leur progrès récents.
