The "Hit Of The Week" award this time goes to referee Tim Rackers for beating up the driver of The Berg. Okay, you don't see it happen in this episode, but I'm sure that's why you don't piss him off!

Probably my fave episode so far, Loads of fun. Great battles and everyone looked like they were having a blast :)

Agreed. Nice Comment, Gareth. I'm not sure everybody realises just how hard it is to get a series like this under way. It's nothing like uploading homemade video-game virtual fight footage to KZbin! Although there are some brilliant (and hilarious!) Channels of virtual bot fights out there, the logistics of getting real people and actual robots together is amazingly difficult. The relaxed atmosphere and fun-level surprised me, too - I'm pretty sure there will be plenty of nerves behind the scenes, though... For a completely new series, this has got off to a terrific start.

Cheers from Australia, really liking the series
@EleanorPeterson6 жыл бұрын
Thanks! (I'm not connected to the series, by the way, I'm just a fan.) The robot fighting scene in Australia is tremendously healthy at the moment (lots of hard work, there); I know how tough it is to get a series like Bugglebots organised - I tried something similar with heavyweights back in the late 80s. (Failed: no money, no talent, no connections. Sigh.) If things go well it'd be nice to think there could be some kind of 'Ashes' series in future. Australia versus England? Strewth! Anyway, it's great to have support from so far afield. :-)

SCD did not touch the pit trapdoor after the button was pressed and that is clearly seen by the replay.

I don't think SCD was actually over the pit when the pit was supposed to be activated, it looked like SCD had only just gotten off the pit plate in time, but I guess when you're doing it live the judges would have a reacting to notice who was where when the pit was active and it failed. Been a fun series to watch so far, much love from Down Under!

@233Deadman6 жыл бұрын
I doubt it, insurance issues most likely. Which is why Sgt. Bash wasnt around in the RW reboot: they coyuld get insurance for spinning blades that can rip apart steel and flippers that can hurl 110kg of metal 6+ feet into the air, but not for flamethrowers.
@Garfie4896 жыл бұрын
@@233Deadman Insurance wasnt the reason for Sgt. Bash not returning. However it should also be noted Bugglebots isnt a professional company and thus the insurance for them would be alot trickier - especially as they have to play effectively in someone elses house. They arnt that effective when used anyway.
