@@hapsnap2989 yeah thats true tho! what worked for me is - if i'm trully comfortable with me and the trip and all that set and setting thingies, I delve into the dark knowing its just media, and somebody made it, and thats their opinions and views and whatnot and usually theres still something to take from that. But yeah, I felt pretty weird and umconfortable on some off the airs, tripping, and that was not nice at all.

I wasn’t ready for how powerful 2:49 Midnight Ash would be. She ate the ash of moths as a desperate way to feel loved and connected to those moths, which she didn’t feel from her mother who tasted of a different ash. While never stated, her mother probably died from her smoking habit leaving her daughter behind. She ate her mother’s ash as a desperate way to feel loved and connected to her mother, like she never felt while her mother was alive.

I am woman who was abandoned by her mother due to addictions that included, but were not limited to Cigarettes. Midnight ash is such an incredible and moving piece. The way it is able to describe chasing after affirmation in that sense is so unique and passionate. Most importantly, it's brutal and honest. I've always admired this program for bringing light to the weirdest, most uncomfortable and human things. I hope these creators find good careers moving forward and keep telling such tearjerking stories.

the last bit did it for me. In slowmotion it looks like a helpless bug without the chance to acctually fly but then the lift of looking so goofy. Just flapping their wings as fast as they can - without elegance or grace. Thank you for this episode.
