Dalen Spratt, I am into history and gangsters and Ben "Bugsy' Siegel named the Flamingo hotel after his mistress Virginia hill who had long legs. Siegel worked for the lucky Luciano mob. I read that Siegel was killed not just for skimming mob money for the casino but he was becoming too crazy for the fellow gangsters and they had to get rid of him. Plus yes he did NOT like being called Bugsy at all! Thanks for the upload.

Funny you should say that it looks like a movie lot, it use to be a part of the Paramount Lot. They are lovely in the office there, they hand out maps to the notable names there to help you find everyone. The same can't be said for Forest Lawn, they don't take kindly to lookie-lous. I'll tell you what, if I was going to be buried, I'd want it to be here. I visit this place yearly. I'm a huge old Hollywood fan and this place is my bliss🥰 I think you pissed off Bugsy. He apparently didn't like that name and wasn't called that to his face. I swear when you asked him about the drink that he missed I heard "Bourbon." The "I'm struggling with death" gave me the mega chills.

Hello, fellow graveyard shifters! Clocking in. What a beautiful resting place. I love the peacocks The many "eyes" on their feathers represent the all seeing eyes of God. I'm 46 and I've always heard that Hollywood is ran by the Jewish community. This cemetery reinforces that for me. And the closeness of the graves/headstones if I'm not mistaken is also a Jewish thing. Clocking in a wee bit late, had doctors appointments 🤒 hi #shifters 👋 Water on the grave is different to each culture that participates. Buddhists believe that when we die, we return to the four elements that make up life: water, air, earth, and fire. They believe that just as water gives life, it takes life back to the earth at death. Some Tibetan Buddhists practice water burials, where the deceased is laid to rest in a flowing river. Peacocks 🦚 are actually a symbol of divinity 😃 they symbolize other things but this stands out as being associated with passing over. The resting place of Bugsy Seigel was crazy! I thought the banging sound was someone slamming a door or throwing something on the marble to make noises. They definitely wanted your attention. Maybe they wanted to distract you? Could have been Bugsy haha 😄 he was a bit of a trickster in life. Great episode 👏 #dalenspratt #graveyardshiftsupervisor #graveyardshift #shifter
