Adeola, I am from Swaziland (eSwatini) and this is what I have to say about our name change: 1. Before the British colonized the country, we were known as eSwatini or kaNgwane. Unlike our fellow African brothers, we never reverted back to our true name after gaining our independent in 1968. To us, this is a step in the right direction in being the authors of our own history and it's also an act of sovereignty. 2. You mentioned that he should have instead focused on bettering the lives of the people. Throughout your video, you have shown how African countries (yours included) have a long way to go in improving the lives of its people. However, I feel socio-economic injustices should not prevent us of taking care of other things we hold dear to us. We take one step at a time. The truth of the matter we as African peoples must strive independently and collectively for a new paradigm. The mindset and moral ethics of the leaders are only a reflection of the people. They can talk all they want about Buhari (his incompetence, colonised mentality, and self hate is evident, but most that talk that talk won't do any better. I must be sincere that I'm happy that the piece on OAU sex scandal was done, I've been waiting for it. The truth I'd that as much as I'll like to feel relieved as a female student of the University who does not only see things like that happen but also sees females who agree to the demands of those lecturers dictate the fate of their course mates when grades are involved, I know it's not over. There are still people there who thinks we ladies are just born to take such without complaints. I also don't think it is right to release the name of the female student. Trust me, she's in for it! As for the President saying we are lazy, I think he needs to stop being lazy by trying to know what Nigerian youths go through even in the universities alone. Let him start by not importing all his things but buying them from youths who uses their innovations to make creations. We don't need the oil money, just buy a Nigerian-made product for once instead of spending our oil money in Italy, Paris, Milan and Dubai. That's how we want our share of the oil money.
