I had this exact car. (same color, everything. probably a little less rust..) Bought it in 1989 for $100. Ran like a champ. Got her up past 100 mph on the highway... Should have kept it!

Finally a classic luxury car that don't sound like a tank. Could hardly hear it from inside. So many on youtube are in need of a complete exhaust system. These were luxury cars whisper quiet

Nice Electra, hope you can get that rust taken care of. I like these cars, I used to ride to school in a 69 Electra Limited, navy with a white top, my Mom said it was the 1st car she ever had that she loved! Hope you do a update on this car

Buick Electra,we had a 64conv 65 sedan and 66 conv, very fast and very comfortable.

I sold this car a view years a go to Germany. I know it's partly restored and looks like a low rider now. I love these cars and i own the same model in bordeaux red now. Try to keep these beauty's on the road!

Look at those options. electric windows. A/C, electric antenna, vacuum release trunk from the glove box, there's a feature you can set the set point on the speedo and it'll buzz at you if you go over that speed. It has a cold light to let you know when to rev the engine to slow it down when it's cold. Only down fall to that car is those engines were not very popular so it's extremely hard to find parts for them sometimes. Also has a electric sliding bench seat.

when I had a garage that measured 228" deep I learned what the 225 means (although at the time i had a '68). I had a black '65 exactly like this. If I had this baby now I'd fix all that rust (underneath also)(engine & all running carriage) and retain the color

My favourite years for full-sized Buicks are 1964-66, 1968, 1969-70, and 1971.
