Awesome, thanks for the help! Your bike sounds great, I too am a big fan of the xt group. Here in Colorado bike shops stock both Shimano and Sram so I feel pretty confident that even a tiny bike shop in the middle of nowhere is going to have anything I might need for repairs. I would definitely like to hear what your favorite rear rack and front flat bar dry bag / mount is! Cheers

@ yeah sram great but for me i switched out the xxx1 groups set because hard to find replacement parts special i design the bike for international travel and xt and shimio gearing system is much more easier to find special remote places as it cheaper and cost effective.. i guess if i was just building a bike to tour usa then yeah sram would be perfect .. rack question i prefer bikepacking seat post bag for my bikepacking setup .. racks generally break on trails i go on .. but if i had to use rear like the Aereo rear rack or mountain man rear rack would be my choice .. reguarding front bag stay away from all those cottage companies and manufacturers there front roll bags are to narrow just get sea to summit Large Event bag in black. And attach to a hard harness like spider front harness
