Build a DIY Golf Simulator Under $1000 in 2024!!!

My son and I have a simulator up and running beautifully for just under the $1000 mark. Garmin R-10, 430 lumens projector and a painters tarp from harbor freight. We love it!!

So for a non-projector sim just using the Garmin would work on an iphone/ipad? My brother brought his Garmin by my garage setup and the readings were way off. Does it need a very open space to pick up the proper readings?

Yes the R10 works on the iPhone or iPad no isssue. Yes you need 8-10 feet from ball to net and 6-8 feet from garmin to ball! Also because the garmin is radar based you can pickup some inference by concrete or metal objects in room.

Hey great question ! For the driving range it is free and you also get 5 courses free in E6. If you want the Garmin software it is $10 a month which give you access to over 40k courses

Good information but lose the music. Makes it almost impossible to hear what you're saying and it's super annoying.

Maybe down the volume a touch when editing. Subtle background noise music isn’t bad but I see what the previous guy might be saying. I think the volume ia too high though
