Can you help me out with projectors. I need to buy one for a 14 foot wide Sim. I’m absolutely confused about this 1080P versus 4K thing. I’m trying to ward off some obsolescence and I’m not trying to save every penny to build a simulator. I’m trying to pay once and enjoy it for 3 to 5 years.

Great setup! Had a question about your screen setup since it looks like you hit pretty close to the screen. What is the actual measurement from ball to screen and how are you dealing with bounceback? Do you have anything behind the standard white impact screen?

I got the sensors with my cobra clubs and also purchased the link. The first round the link was lost came off my pocket. It was working ok before that but without the link I’m not carrying my pro max phone in my pocket. Called and cancelled before trial period is over.

How far off set can you place this projector? I would like to ceiling mount around 2-3’ to my right from center of screen , since I don’t want if directly above from where I hit . My ceiling is only 8’ 6”

I used Arccos for over a year, and the most frustrating is that the product doesn’t register shots and the club recommendation is way off the more you use it.

I’m thinking about mounting this on my back patio. Obviously it’s protected from the rain and the elements but it would get dusty etc.. Are there dust covers for it? Also if it’s mounted on the ceiling and you’re only a foot from the ceiling, how do you access the top buttons?

Your opinion is different than many of the other videos I watched that sent me away from laptops. But, I'm not running a 4k set up and I'd like to be able to move my computer and around and it woudl be a lot more usable if it was a laptop. thanks for the tips

Yeah a friend sent me a link to the arccos pro. The fact that they miss shots makes them nearly useless. I personally just use a Bushnell GPS magnet display for front/center/back of greens and a red tiger optical range finder to get details on the green or landmarks and ranges. I also just count my own strokes.

Hole 13 when your view is blocked you can hit the letter B key and it removes any obstruction behind the ball. Good video.

Ive just started using Arrcos, only have 15 rounds recorded so far but have had 0 issues, 0 missed shots, it always detects the right club, links to my samsung watch and show distances and current club, at each tee box i just check the last hole, make sure everything was fine, have a look at the hole im currently on so i know what hazards there are and then my phone goes back in my pocket until im on the next tee box, found it great as indont need to keep track of shots, distances, no longer need a paper scorecard, its made the game even more relaxing and hastle free for me. I get thst not everyone will have the same experience as me and i may well have issues in the future but currently ill be paying for the anual membership as i can justify the cost for what the system gives me, i looked at other systems but i didnt like the fact i would have to tag each club i use, i prefer to have less things to focus on and just play golf butbstill get the data to review and improve my game. As for the battery life, the sensors come with a 2 year warranty and a 2 year battery life, you also get 5 new sensors when you renew your membership so if you have the system for a few years you will end up with spares and can just swap the sensor once the battery dies.

Hi there , I am looking into putting a simulator in my garage with the GarminR10, with this mat I was curious when you have buddies over some left and right golfers are you moving the Garmin R10 every time for them as different ball position on that one mat?

Hi, nice setup btw. I see you have a 4:3 style screen, whereas you are projecting gspro on 16:9 which leaves those little blanks, I was wondering if you know if there is a way in the gspro settings to display 4:3?
