This family is a true example of what I have been talking about on my videos on this channel. . I interviewed this young man who explained how his mother moved from the city to acquire land of her ancestors in Ndwedwe village near Durban. A big change to their lives for a better living in a affordable price. He talks proud of how they now live a high life they never dreamed of while still in the city. For only R350,000 his mother was able to build a 5 bedroom beautiful Tuscan style house. If you want to know more about how you can acquire land in Ndwedwe village and need advise, he is available to help give you direction. Email me and I will connect you to him: velile@throughmusicfoundation.org. Thank you for watching.

I was shook and just told him ngiyabonga for his time. Gape building at the rural area is not the same as building at Sandton guys. Building needs you to be stubborn otherwise you'll be robbed.
@VelileLifestyleDecorTV3 жыл бұрын

You should not live in rural areas. You should move to a more expensive location as there is more opportunity
@mamadeebuildsahouse3 жыл бұрын
I think your house depends on the finishes. Yes, there is that, meaning market. Sandton has a market and rural market isn't established yet. But I'm building 5 beds, 5 baths on a slope and already spent about 3 million rands. Granted my rooms are spacious and the slope did add quite a bit in price. I'm also building a double storey which adds more to cost.
@nomakingz3 жыл бұрын
You can actually start those opportunities in the rural areas. It will actually be more beneficial a specially when the competition is very low. I was born Jhb and grew up there now i recently bought a 1 ha stand (1st of many) in KwaNdebele for business purposes. Competition in GP is very high. I think MP can be a great opportunity on itself 🤷♀️

Rural living is pure joy. Before I moved to the city, I lived in a beautiful house on a large stand in the rural area. Electricity was cheaper, I didn't pay for water, grew my own vegetables and corn, breeded chickens. The fresh unpolluted air was bliss. Clearer night sky and being able to see the universe with many stars and planets was breath taking (I have a telescope). Whenever I feel the unforgiving urban life is swallowing me in, I always go back and press the reset button. It's amazing.

We also moved to a rural area from Cape Town and are in the process of building an 8 bedroom house. Our goal was to live a self sustainable lifestyle, by growing our own food and raising our meat chickens as well as egg layer chickens. I have a KZbin Channel documenting our journey from the time we moved till now. It definitely is a huge difference and so fulfilling to follow this dream of ours. Whe you use a builder from your community and not hire a company,building will be very cheap.There are alot of good builders who don't have companies
@1959SM04 Жыл бұрын
Blue Moon building in the rural areas is cheap because there are many bricklayers, carpenters and plumbers and they don't cost much. You get a plot from the chiefs. There is no area that is not allocating land. In our area the stand initially was R1500 for a 35x35 plot. Nowadays it is R3000. You fence your stand for about R6000 get your JoJo tank for R2500 and we buy water for R200 full tank 2500 liters.Then you get your loads of sand at R670 per load. Then you get the brick makers that charge R30 per bag of cement. You use your Maths to calculate the thousands you need and the cost. We make the bricks on site. We save on on transport and we get more bricks if we make them ourselves. Ready made bricks are also available. Here you build at your own pace and according to your pocket. There is no reason to get a loan. Cement is cheap better bought according to brand and strength. The foundation and the roof are expensive but once you get past the foundation you can start saving for the roof. There is nothing imported from the cities building wise. Maybe the furniture and the fitting but the rest are available here. There, I have given you an idea. Start saving. You can start a good building stokvels with your trusted buddies or you can gooi your saving at the hardware stores where they help you save with them and can only withdraw your money by taking building material. Some banks provide loans through the hardware stores but don't take that route. There is no hurry in building. Have a goal and a time frame. Good luck. Size of stand differ from place to place 35m×35m is the minimum. You can buy two adjacent ones if you want to spread.

@mrsoshadabaadman3 жыл бұрын
We could always claim land just there were restrictions in apartheid South Africa, and the land we could access was not near any urban centres. Now through the tribal chiefs and back then. Its only that development has taken years like the young man said there is a mall and running water has just been established. My family has land its just that it is in the rural areas, so do most black people in KwaZulu-Natal.

Yes living in villages is so much cheaper and affordable....but remember everything has cons....witchcraft of villages, you also need to make peace with buying in bulks coz you can't go shop around 16h00 after work.... But cost wise...its soooooo peaceful
@VelileLifestyleDecorTV3 жыл бұрын
😂😂😂 tell us more about this witchcraft you talking about.

But the house looked big. Is 350K realistic? I was expecting a breakdown of how much each item costs.
@cebisa933 жыл бұрын
It could be especially when you also use a builder from your town and not a company
@khatmanworld3 жыл бұрын
@@cebisa93 I thought 350K is a rough estimation of building material costs which should be more or less the same across Southern Africa. You'll correct where I'm wrong
@akhonazasembo30162 жыл бұрын
@Makhate Makhate thats the money we spend building in the villages that includes building materials,labour,houseplan n interior tails and the ceiling

I'm planning to build a 3 million house for my mom, yes it's a rural area. It means it will be enough to cover the whole yard since it's huge. Perhaps a doublestory house will do, but the plan is to triple it. God bless my hustle and everyone's.

I heard him mention that building in the semi/rural areas you don't need a town planner and like persons. Are architects specifically also not needed? How does one acquire the building plans?
@sthembisombili32843 жыл бұрын
You buy your house plan from professionals but there's no strict town planning necessary as this is in rural areas.

@VelileLifestyleDecorTV3 жыл бұрын
This is tribal land and acquired through ancestral lineage. Please research on buying land in South Africa for a foreigner. This platform does not cover that. 🙏🏾❤️

Excellent my sister...You see what I meant...Real people real videos...people wanna see practicalities...As you rightly said...We heard it from the 🐎 🐴 Horse's mouth...He mentioned that sewer can be put in place and once full I guess there are Sewer Suckers to take care of that...The brother also mentioned about WiFi...Entertainment in the form of satellite television so u won't miss your Soweto Derby nor your English football games ...and lastly he mentioned the Fresh air and the peace...no blurring of car horns and the general stress that comes with congestion...Oh I forgot...he mentioned the Affordable land costs...R5k to be specific and the general flexibility of not going through lots of back n forth in the relevant municipalities stages....This is wonderful work Velile...Zim🇿🇼 and I in particular I'm so proud of your strides ...You going places...One day I'm gonna invite you to visit Zimbabwe and we hit the road to a Rural Village and Farm Lifestyle and see how we live here🙏🙏🙏🙏
