Lets tour a 9 room house built for only R350K in rural South Africa. The house contains 4 bedrooms that are 4x5 square metres big, one bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with toilet, a guest bathroom, living room, dinning room, a big kitchen and double garage.
Most of the building material were purchased locally at a hardware store in the village.

I’m living in America my first project was so hard to do and I left it without finishing it because of the was no was I trust to help me my family members were there for the money, I just brought my second site next to the sea that was I’m going to build my retirement home, and I’m saving so that I will be there when it starting I’m so excited I already put an 4 corner rondo by the help of strangers and septic tank, and poles for fence just to mark my territory

I noticed that and asked too. Actually they decided to add the en-suite bathroom later and a deciding wall so they working on creating another window and the window in the bathroom was for the bedroom before the new changes. 🙏🏾❤️

It is cheaper to build a house in SA as compared to across the Limpopo River. The house is almost complete and with only a bill of about £17 000. Probably the total costs can go upto £27 000 including furnishings, plumbing, painting, ceiling including skerming, floor tiling, maybe an additional £5 000 for paving outside.

All is way too expensive in the suburbs. Builders are a ripoff, hardware stores extremely expensive, land hardly available and if one finds it, it cost between R500k up.

@@VelileLifestyleDecorTV No. I never built any big house but I have watched at a distance the inconveniences. These days, people are cruel. Bear in mind, children are growing and have their own life preferences. This neighbour was staying alone because his girls got married and the sons bought properties in different places. People came to steal curtains, dishes, pots and utensils from his big house. He couldn't hear anything happening in his house because of the size. This happened in broad day light or in the evenings while resting in his bedroom. The second incident happened to an elderly couple. People were stealing from their house in their presence. They couldn't here anything. Some homeless people were also sleeping in their house and they didn t notice that until a visiting son caught them red-handed. They were cooking also there. They did no physical harm to them anyway. The one I saw with a passage like an hotel!!! Sorry.

1. if you dont hire qualified builders, you end up with a very big shack like this. 2. You can clearly see that the structral integrity has been compromosed by bad workmanship. 3. designer of the house does not understand spacial awereness 4. that roof will leak or is leaking already. 5. kzn needs to pull there socks up, and stop being stingy. how can you comproise quality on something so important just baffles me. thanks for the video, and statements Above are not directed to you on personal a level, rather a concern of KZNs under par rural developments.
