a form tool for a hydraulic press would probably be easier to make endcaps. you would also safe material i believe. greetings from vienna

Look for automotive fuel injector filters. The ones i have are not as long as those but would work.

@@JoesModelEngines I hope they work for you! The ones i have are all metal - stainless mesh with a brass framework. I can’t remember which injector i was buying them for years ago.
