Build an amazing Short Circuit protector with only 4 components that can be taken from old ATX power supplies!! Let's build a small but functional circuit that protects equipment against short circuits. Simple but efficient, the circuit with only 4 components uses a very interesting sensor technique and works perfectly!!
Material list for the project:
1) IRF640 MOSFET (or equivalent, N-channel)
2) A capacitor of 100nF x 50v
3) A PC817 photo coupler (or equivalent)
4) An inductor (from switching sources filter)
