Just finished your video series, thanks! I'm very visual so this helps fill in the confusion I may have when I hit a step and reading the Voron Manual.

Go for it. It's a nice 3d printer!

Nice job documenting your build. I built the standard one from Siboor (no CNC parts) and am currently starting the Siboor 2.4 build. Great kits for the money.

Thank you. I agree, they are great kits for the money. I’m looking forward to the next one. I wish you a great 2.4 build. I love my 2.4.

Great series, it's been a joy to watch. I've just ordered a 0.2 from Siboor. Excited for my first Voron build. I've saved your documentation for when I get to the config items. Thanks again!

Hello, is there another conclusion after 6 mon video about All Metal Voron 0.2? Is converting to all metal worth it?
@KapmansBasementWorkshop8 ай бұрын
If your printer is already assembled and running, I don't see the value of upgrading to metal parts. The ABS parts work great. But if you are building a 3d printer but don't want to print a lot of parts, this might be the path forward for you. I'm finding that over time, as I customize, I'm slowly replacing some of the aluminum parts with ABS. The CNC parts are nice.

great job fiddling it all together. i finished mine yesterday, already changed some stuff around. did you find the cnc'd a and b stepper housings a bit too beefy as well? if i move the gantry all the way back, the strain relief bracket of the toolhead hits the stepper housings so that i had to remix the bracket and ditch the lower two mounting points.

I need to try this out, but so far I have not had problems with prints. Does this happen when you push the gantry all the way back and then the print head to one side of the printer?

@@KapmansBasementWorkshop exactly. In the siboor discord someone mentioned that they didn't chamfer the CNC parts while the printed ones have a slight chamfer on top. That's probably the reason. For now my solution works tho

i’ve had the stock drivers die, replaced them with btt 2209 drivers
@KapmansBasementWorkshop Жыл бұрын
I wonder why. I have had drivers die on another 3d printer. When I replaced them, I made sure the fan was blowing over them. I aimed the base fan directly to the cooling fins of these 2209's. Time will tell I suppose. Thanks for posting!
