BuildaSoil customer here. Everything I've used from them is great. The one thing I can respect the most from them is that they explain what is in the product, how much of it is in there, and most important how to make your own. I make my own Compost, Worm Castings, FAA, FFJ, FPJ... and a bunch of other stuff. They want you to understand what is going on with your grow, not just sell you a product and tell you when to use it.

And they are really into an ecological life as they don't ship to Europe because of the carbon footprints...so yes Jeremy told me to try to source local ingredients and that I can find everything I need to make something similar all information...I can do a lot but there's products that you can't really find here even if we have companies focused on organic but it's basics and they don't make innovative products...but since Germany legalised adult recreational use last April I'm pretty sure that a kind of BUILDASOIL Europe will be created soon!

100% BAS. I have, like many others, learned much about organic growing from Jeremy's many YT videos, product information videos, and his many guest discussing some of their organic products. Also, I appreciate all the free grow knowledge and feeding/amendment schedules available at their website. I have even called with questions and they are very helpful and knowledgeable. If trying only one BAS product, it has to be Craftblend. You'll end up with lots of BAS products once you go, Loyal to the Soil, but you now better understand how plants grow and what amendments they require or what helps max their potential. Both of my local grow shops offer BAS products with a very strong following in the grow community.

I love BAS. I use CraftBlend and Buildaflower in PromixHP-M. I use buildaveg and buildAbloom both as a foliar feed and supplement in waterings once a week or so. Also I add Q, for my wetting agent. My homemade aloe ferment, BAS coconut water powder and finally for bio Photosynthesis Plus 8 or 9 plants in flower and not a single yellow leaf in the tent.

Builasoil is awesome. Mix the buildaflower top dress and craft blend into the soil. That’s it just 2 ingredients for your organic super soil mix after the seedling stage when you transplant. Just water and the results will be amazing. Makes growing so easy. Top dress once week 1 into flower same 2 ingredients.

Toking some Nukeheads White Rhino deep in the woods of East Texas. I used the happy frog/ocean forest mix on my first grow. Since then I've used Build a Soil exclusively. I use their Craft Blend and Big 6 (micronutriens + humic acid) in veg and their Build a Bloom and Big 6 in flower. Make my own compost, but their Build a Flower top dress kit is top notch too. Once in a month use some of their Yah-Whey probiotoc, get the benefits of the fermented milk without the smell. My girls LOVE it! BTW Supercropping.

Been running the 3.0 for over a year now, great stuff. Running 4 identical clones right now, currently on day 56 of flower. Running them in 10 & 15g pots. Only fed once through flower, using UN-PHd tap water. The buds are insanely fat and frosty, definetly killed it this run.

I've been using BAS for just over 3 years now and I get great results. Phenomenal results really. I would warn that you need to stay vigilant though because some of their products come with insects. Some beneficial and some not. I would say as long as no communities of any insect gets out of control, you're going to be fine. Just stay vigilant.

I use bas too! I'm still learning how to use everything but their soil is def awesome! I wanna try there em 5 and the fermented stuff soon. My plants love it. Especially my compost teas have had very good results with the craft blend and microbe complete. I also add compost but they get super foamy and my plants have very vigorous growth after....gaia green I had good results with too and I do switch back n forth . I have mostly BAS soil now but I also have a few gaia green 10 gallon pots I made my first year and they still do awesome. I like the insect frass in gaia green so I'll add a teaspoon of it to my teas just for that but both are great. I just love with bas you get the breakdown of each product and how to use it or supercharge growth and it really does work. For organic gardening it's cool to get to see immediate results with food or teas where usually it takes a little time. Just fun to try all of it really lol

Big tip, use craft blend/ buildabloom/ Colorado worm castings during flower . And fur real real, don’t try running this in a 5 or 10gal, go for that 20 gallon or bigger. It really does make a huge difference if you run BAS in big containers. I use 3x3 beds and if you can upgrade your space with beds that’s honestly the way to go.

Super fun time, very informative, tons of cool/expert growers. My only advice on build a soil products, is to just watch Jeremy's KZbin videos. any plants with a lot of Afghani in the lineage, and mainly indica will do just fine in the north, weather is only an issue if it becomes an issue, this isn't 1890's, we have tentative weather forecasts that are pretty decent if you know your local climate....
@420sceneАй бұрын
Indica plants always fair well in colder climates but yes, you’re right, if the weather does get bad, it doesn’t matter what it is, it will still become an issue. But even being in the north east you can’t finish photos outside from my experience so you can pretty much just run autos. But Indica plants will do better than sativa plants and colder climates if you’re comparing the two because of the origin of their lineage.

Build a soil is the BEST! The bigger the pot the better. I use 10gal pots at a min. I also have a 3x3ft bed that is on run #9 at the moment. The more I use it the better it gets. Because I grow in living soil i use several products from build a soil. Everything. I used had been good. I use build a bloom in flower because it's a well balanced bloom fertilizer that is vegan based. I haven't taken my soil out of my autoflower pots in 3 years. I just cut the stalk and plant a seed and let it go. And my autos get big. I have a OG kush auto from FASTBUDS that's over 5 feet tall right now. In a 9 gallon pot that didn't flip too flower till day 50. Jeremy from BAS promotes some amazing products that are carefully vetted. And he always says of you can't get access to his products or can't afford them. Look for alternatives that are local or cheaper but try to get low impact quality inputs. BAS is a great place to learn about living soil gardening

I'm pretty new to gardening, only started learning 2 years ago in August, but here is my experience with BAS. As someone who is into chemical-free food, I first started off trying to find information on stuff like that for soil. I ended up finding out about Living soil, and funny enough, my introduction to BAS was a comment on some redit post talking about how you don't need any of the nonsense BS from BAS, and you only need Earthworm Castings... I decided to check out BAS from that "negative" comment, and realized this is exactly what I Was looking for. BAS is great because Jeremy seems to really care about sourcing, and "Organic" isn't always "Organic," as he shows with Bloodmeal, Bonemeal, Feathermeal, etc that can be contaminated but still labeled "Organic." This is EXACTLY the type of products I was/am looking for... However, I fell into the "Trap" of "trying to buy everything to get the best possible outcomes." My first grow I wanted to be amazing and the best I could do, but realizing now, how with inexperience, the quality wont be at great as it could be, even though it was incredible my first run. However, even though I knew this would most likely be the case, I still bought all sorts of stuff, because I still wanted that greatness. I even bought 5? kinds of Fermented Fruit Juice, because each review would talk about how it made the smells and taste so much better, and each would comment something different on each ferment. Something like $450 on ferments.... Granted, at that time, I didn't have a source for fermented fruit juice of my own. Now I have 5-6 5lb-buckets or so full of fermenting watermelon rinds, fermenting passionfruit skins, and tomatoes. Oh I also have 3 buckets full of fermenting apples from last year's apple season. I hope I will get more from this year's! I have a farm that I get from, and at the end of the season the apples were half off and "Seconds," so I ate as much as I could and turned the rest into fertilizer. I believe that many of the products aren't necessary. There are many great products, but there are so many of them. AS mentioned above I am someone who makes my own fertilizers, so when I buy all these amendments that are meant to take you through veg and into flower without adding anything but water, what's the point of me making fertilizers? Why waste the money on these amendments then? It's all a Balance. Things like Basalt are good, and some things such as Kelp (which I turn into a fertilizer) are great for top dressing, but there are so many products which may or may not be needed if you have alternatives. I could probably just have a basic mix and then just fertilize, but I ended up mixing my own mix with all sorts of recommended items. I also will say that BAS is a "premium," meaning that products on there ARE more expensive then the competition at times. When I first started I noticed BAS prices were better then Down To Earth and some other sites(which they might still be), but I noticed many products I could find cheaper from other websites, but used BAS as a guide for what is quality. For example, I found a local place that sells "Malibu Compost, Bu's Blend," so why ship it across the country when I can get it local? This also helps support your local community and shops, while also supporting quality products.

Found my lost fem 4k (doorstep x golden goat) seeds. The black cat is doing good. If female I am selfing the black cat. Got a fem red zeppelin auto too. And rolling death coast with a concentrate slathered paper. Left space for one more in veg. So your another that needs the right genetics for your environment. My stuff must be done by Oct 1st. It's why I had to wait on growing the 4k because way long flowering time. And interested in black cat for shorter flower times. It could be the mother for summer clones. I like Subzero's and Coot's super soil recipes. Which Build a soil has a video on super soil. I use seaweed instead of kelp. And type s or m dolomite cement for CaMg and extra silicon. Vermiculite has more silicon vs than perlite. I use a mix of peat and moss. I use worm leechate instead of castings, because worm bed is outdoors and pest. Indoors I use lucky dog by fox farm. Then the used indoor soil goes into worm bed in spring after worm casting go into the garden.
