The big fertilizer boom happened when scientists started testing plants and they found out what nutrients they were naturally up taking from the soil and they found silica in the plants that is why we’ve started using silica as a supplement for plants along with other minerals and vitamins and supplements for growth!

Ive heard it does alot of good things for the plant, and it get larger buds. Thanks for the heads up on diatomaceous earth. I have some of that. I use it for my outdoor grows. and my dog. I was not going to bother to use it in-doors but now I will. Just extra protection against bugs too I guess. No one worries about a bug problem until they get a bug problem.

I use it often in my garden. I mix it into soil for the silica boost. I dust the mulch and plants in veg weekly as it’s Wednesdays IPM practice. Friday-Dr.Zymes and Monday- peppermint or cinnamon spray. Sometimes basil. It definitely works but I wouldn’t say you won’t need a trellis net. It can just make the buds bigger too sure the stems are stronger but with bigger buds too they still need some support.

I just recently started using Botanicare Silica Blast for my plants and man should I have listened when I read on a forum that it’s best to apply it after doing low stress training because it really thickens the wall structure of the stem and makes it harder for you to twist and break the wall to bend branches other than that it really is a game changer. Keep on the great vids!!💪🏽

You can add vermiculite and diatomaceous earth into your soil recipe and also add silica as a first ingredient into your water in order to adjust your ph. Using a full dose my water that is usually 7.8 goes up to 11.

Northern ny, my homegrown watermelon martini, I used powers1 silica, a little goes along way, I organically grow, use it once every 2 weeks, I monitor all the stems and main trunk of the plant, when they get strong I’ll use it every so often. I have powers1 bloom also. Same schedule but as always I read the plants. Because of this I don’t use trellis nets at all. Have a great weekend 420, peace
