Seems like they could just be using something like wget to grab the front end code from a chosen web app &, as you said, restyling it then hosting that page for a domain to point at. I would presume they are slowly creating a template for each app a customer requests and turning that into a pragmatic generation for any new customers wanting the same "app screen grab". One issue with this method is that you would only grab the current info on that "snapshot" and wouldn't have the functionality to interact with it as you would in the web app itself. So in the example of Trello you wouldn't be deleting or updating entries on the clone, but I guess undrr the subscription you could just change it in the app then gen another snapshot and push to website.

I believe they leave trello's (and others) original APIs in tact so the 'new' pages are able to be interacted with and updated.

@@millionaire-millennial aah fair enough. Wouldn't that mean customers would have to submit any API keys to them for it to work. (I haven't used Trello so not familiar with its API)

It seems kind of sketchy to copy someone's website, rename it and make money from it. It seems like there could be legal consequences to something like that

I have hundreds of domains on Godaddy and some are very niche and good for branding. I see this can be easy to do but how will I make money? I pay this service fee monthly, I understand that but again, how do I benefit financially positively vs. just paying his fees? Will I be able to put my own ads on it? I am very curious.
