It clearly makes a difference when someone have great musical skills and knows how to properly use a synth to make actual music rather than those shitty nonsense tech reviews.

Thanks to those tech videos, this guy decided to get one seeing how he can make use of it. I think both styles of videos have there place and it wouldn't be a fair comparison. Regardless, this track really great and much better than other tracks I've heard that demo this synth!

That's beautiful, Robert! Shows how much can be done with one little monosynth, a few VST effects, and some time and TALENT. The Pro-1 definitely has character and a nice range of capabilities, and this was a great way to show them off.

For all the synths Behringer is releasing the pro 1 seems to has the less "squeaky" VCF and in this song you can hear that in the many sounds it produces

Just about to buy this synth. I love what it can do. I was listening all over KZbin for some good examples of how musical this synth can get, and mostly found discordant noise. this is really great... absolutely authentic vintage sounds... I've got a Moog Grandmother and am researching all the Behringer synths as potential semi-modular companion pieces to the Moog.... Tough call. The Neutron seems to have the most CV patch points but this Pro 1 has exactly the sound I love... hmm.

Yes indeed, nothing exotic but the ‘raw’ sound differs from the Minilogue (I’ve the mk1 mini). Maybe the Korg has a a slightly more modern stable sound.

They all drift, and need some warming up. Sometimes sooner then later... I don't really mind during the composition phase. I do check the tuning before recording ;-)

If you have a daw with vsts then the pro 1 is a better option. But the novation is a capable little synth. Peak is a monster synth;-)

Thanks, and yes they’re both great sounding synths (well at least in my opinion). Pro 1 is a ‘easy’ simple one and the Arp a bit more flexible.
