Love this build! You are the best sims builder I've found on KZbin. Life & death build idea: I would love to see a house for a mortician. Basically the ground floor is for meeting families, basement is for preparation of bodies, upstairs is living space for the mortician sim.

LOVE IT! I've been dreaming of building a house on legs like Howl's Moving Castle, but whenever I tried with the legs, they never turned out looking good enough. I knew that if someone could absolutely pull it off, it's you! You have such a great eye for a balanced exterior and it is great that you always keep gameplay in mind, even if you're a builder through and through. I also love the idea of just moving the walking house to a different lot whenever you need or want to stay in a different world. 😃 Oh, and there is actually a way for non-occult sims to teleport without cheating: at level 7 Wellness skill. So to my knowledge, even without a ladder, you can get up there as a "normal" sim, too.

I am so behind on videos (migraines suck), but this has been sitting on my “to be watched” list for awhile, and I was really excited about it when you posted it! I have always liked the Baba Yaga stories. You are always so good at mixing packs in unexpected ways to get something cohesive and unique. The Mac & cheese in the cauldron at the end cracked me up.

Migraines really do suck. I hope you get better soon or find at least find a good way to deal with them. I don't have them but a good friend of mine has them, so bad she can't even work or even just participate in life sometimes. Don't know how to describe it. Anyways always happy when people watch my videos and of course if they inspire people for their gameplay or just bring joy. Everyone can watch them at their own pace or even at all :) The Mac and Cheese is my go to "test" if sims can interact with them, lol. Also nice that they work for non spellcasters. =)

I will think about it. Updating it will make sense for sure. However I have to play a bit with the mortician career first to see what objects one really needs for their house. So I cannot promise anything.

I mean I totally understand that some packs just aren't for someone. I surely have some that never really scratch my interest and I also apparently subconciously dont use them that often in my builds. However I will die on the hill: Journey to Batuu is the best steampunk pack until a steampunk pack comes along. :P

I play historical spellcasters and Journey to Batuu has *amazing* CAS and BB stuff for my specific style ^^ that said, I will literally never play with the pack’s gameplay features, and the alien masks do clutter up CAS.

@@jahanshadi1934 oh no. Souns like a creative blockade. I totally have those a plenty too. I mean I did a year long hiatus. I have no real universal solution of course. But what helped me is : You are not stealing content by just taking inspiration from other artists. Mixing it all together and even bringing them into other media(sims 4 videos) and making it work, is an art in itself and also just makes me happy. The other is: don't care about the audience. The audience will find you. If it's a small audience, it's totally ok. That's my little ted talk about it. Sorry for the wall of text ^^

This Build is perfect as a Halloween build. It doesn't have to be Gloomy, dark and spooky, quirky and spooky is enough. You know more like the Spooky-Stuff-Pack from the Early days of Sims 4, that Vibe, mixed with a little Steampunk and Gothic and voilá you have a Beautiful Build. But if you want to do another Halloween build, why not make a build from another fairy tale, maybe the Dark Castle from Puss in Boots? Where does the Evil Wizard live? Or ... instead of a Haunted House, perhaps a Haunted Community? I think something like a Mall, with a Doorway to Hell, set as either a Rec-Center or a Museum (because Museums are so easy to fulfil the requirements)
