Pro Tip: Jose, wrap your braided line in electrical tape before cutting it, it'll keep the edges nice and crisp without any frayed wires poking out and you can assemble the fitting easier before taking the tape off and tightening the fitting...

For sure. My dad had a low tech version of that on his VW he drag races. It's basically a hydraulic damper so when he drops the clutch it his it and eases it off. Slip amount on his is adjusted by adjusting it's physical position against the clutch arm since old bugs are cable clutches.

13:37 For those that want to know how to wrap exhaust THE RIGHT WAY. You soak the fiberglass wrap in water for like a half an hour. Because that helps it lay down easier and when it dries after you have secured both ends, it will shrink down tight and smooth. And to secure the ends you just use some safety wire like what you would use for safety wiring bolts, because its so thin you can torque it down on the fiberglass really tight and it will NEVER come off by accident.
