Any time I load into survival with these builds they tend to just break. works for day then if I log back into it it’s destroyed

Give servers some time to sync and roam data, and make sure lift is not stuck on top

Can confirm it does work in survival after a few load ins. It does come crashing down when you come in the game but seems to fix itself after a few seconds. So thank you for this!

Update here, it broke. The structure stayed in tact but the elevator lift portion glitched out.

A better way for it to go up and down is to just weigh it down with flooring or whatever, that way the thrusters bring it up and when they shut off it just falls back down. Use the balloons to find the right balance so it falls slowly or controlled. I have two that run like that, they're great

People just need to make a mechanism at the bottom that locks the elevator in place once you reach the bottom, or vice versa. I just started playing so will see what I can come up with. Have fun!

How did you get your bottom thrusters and top thruster to all turn on with one switch? In the survival elevator demo, you had one switch that turned them all on??

If there's a solid connection between everything then a single switch will activate how ever many thrusters are on the elevator

Can't you design a stop at the top using another movable foundation with a protruding piece with an attatched rocket and switch? Trying to think how to retract it. Maybe another movable foundation above that one with long leads down that intercept with the initial. Idk, how does minecraft have easier mechanics being like 18 years old?

What am I doing wrong? The top dynamic foundation keeps flying off by itself. It’s not getting connected to the pillars even when I set it on top of all 4 of them.

try building from the top down if you're having that problem. only thing else I can think of is you're somehow connecting the dynamic to the guide rails

in survival mode u can‘t connect dynamic foundation with pillar’s or walls, u can only put pillars on top of dynamic foundations but that’s it. Sandbox is whole different sadly

Very nice concept. Works smoothly, only problem i have with it is the fact that it goes back down after going up, obviously i dont want it stuck up there via balloons, but would be interesting to make a locking method, but idk if that possible with current mechanics

it does break, built identical to yours and works great for a while and then deconstructs elements and collapses, servers are useless

mine just broke recently and I think the reason is anything with balloons will desync if you go too far away from it. My monorail that doesn't use balloons was perfectly fine but both my elevators were broken
