If you're going early domestication/horses it's worth it to settle adjacent rather than on horses and built it out with influence so you don't have to spend the production. The bigger advantage with domestication is horse scouts, allowing you to scout and expand a lot more quickly (Olmec culture blitz FTW). Also, how awesome is the infrastructure resource preview!

@@MadishMoose 23:42 - Great point there about a gold reserve for offsetting overpopulation issues. I like waiting until the beginning of Medieval to do this. If you've focused mostly on building districts until this point it's great because those troops can immediately chop forests for +80 industry. This is critical because it allows you to get several more infrastructures out at a really pivotal point in the match.

Yes, chopping is something I really need to work on. I hate seeing the yields go away since I usually have Abstain from Intoxicants as a Tenet.
