Looking forward to seeing & learning about high speed builds.

Im looking at doing a m190 in my jg m4 s-system. Using only slightly different parts. Ill b picking ur brain on the finer points such as aoe and possible mosfet settings preferences like pre-cocking. Im still working on a parts list to send u. Thanks for thinking outside the gearbox.

does this sound right?: SHS13:1 gears -3 teeth with a JG blue deans on 11.1v lipo getting 20rps?
@philboeroe7 жыл бұрын
jesse in my g&g wildhog there's a 25k motor, therefore I get 25rps @ constant 390-395fps
@Dwightmare11 жыл бұрын
Just curious but what kind of fps will you be looking at with that spring and a "perfect seal" cylinder/piston/nozzle combo?
@valleyriverarms11 жыл бұрын
Not sure. Not sure where the m190's from shs come in at. You could convert 190 meters to feet and get an idea but ratings are not always spot on. Hoping for 600+ though

I'm having a super tough time with shiming on this gear set it sounds terrible and I'm usually pretty good at shiming ,any advice besides just keep working on it
@valleyriverarms9 жыл бұрын
ramone diaz hard to say. Depends what parts are being used and what it sounds like
@ramonediaz99 жыл бұрын
It's just noisey-er and more grindy than my usual shim jobs
@valleyriverarms9 жыл бұрын
Hard to say how to fix it. There could be a number of different issues.
@ramonediaz99 жыл бұрын
Yeah I'm not sure either , thanks anyway

love the videos. but by any chance will you post a famas upgrade video? because ive searched everywhere and even emailed evike technicians and theres no helpfull response. please help
@valleyriverarms11 жыл бұрын
It's because famas guns are terrible upgrade platforms. There are some things like the piston and gears that are somewhat v2 compatible but there are huge limiting factors like the lack of aftermarket motors that limit the possibilities. Even then you'll run into problems like the specs are just slightly off causing problems when trying to use aftermarket parts. I've never worked on the Famas platform but it's because of what I've read and heard about the internals. If you're determined then experiment with parts and mods but be prepared for a project.

Thanks. i noticed how weird it is. till now its been 160$ to reinforce and put a little kick into it. hasnt been easy but your videos helped alot to encorage me.

nope

Are you accepting builds right now? I've got a gun that has all of the parts in it but I need it fine tuned for max reliability and lowered about 70 fps as it's shooting at 620 fps at 22 rps which is stupid high.
@valleyriverarms Жыл бұрын
lol nah sorry
@PS3AmP11 жыл бұрын
What are some of your suggestions for some high speed gears and a good strong torque motor to shoot around 30-35 rps and keep close to 400 fps. Im new to techin so any advice would help.
@valleyriverarms11 жыл бұрын
SHS makes the best budget gears but siegetek are the nicest. Lonex makes the best all around motors for the price.
@PS3AmP11 жыл бұрын
Do you think siegetek gears are even worth it if your not gunna run a DSG?
@valleyriverarms11 жыл бұрын
depends. Regardless of the application they're the one part that you wouldn't have to worry about durability wise. But assuming its a mild build an shs set will last you as long as you probably need them too. depends how much money you have too.

Hi, i built four or five M190 gearboxes/guns (In CZ we don't have any legal restriction on power of airsoft guns )....IMHO you should use CNC Aluminium gearbox (SHS,CORE)...GP gearbox is great but M190 will destroy it really fast...SHS piston is ok. On M190 spring i would use SHS 300:100 gears...I am looking forward to more videos about M190 build...
@valleyriverarms11 жыл бұрын
Radiusing and sorboing this gun so I think the gearbox should hold up. if not you guys will get to see a fun failure. 300% gears are too slow too so I didn't want to use those.
@martinbartas958711 жыл бұрын
valleyriverarms The question isn't if it will last, but for how long. Use the aluminium gearbox, man. Don't risk damaging other valuable parts with that failure.

Never used helicals before so I wanted to try. This was originally going to be my PTW troll build but I don't have the time or money to pick up an ICS and drop all this shit in.

mine was m150 at first it was almost imposible to put it inside the m14(CA) gearbox but after some compresing it was like putting m120.

lol. If this spring dies like that I'm going to go through the different manufacturers to test high power springs.
