I had some pvc scrap and after watching your video, I decided that would be a great way to free up my bottom rollaway that holds my 14 air tools. The scrap I have is all schedule 40 left over from my water system mods. The wall thickness is greater than the indention of the air nipples so it didn't work out as well. The tools fit the notches but they are difficult to get in and out and don't hang properly. I may use a pen grinder later to notch down the inner wall of the notches themselves. Thanks for the idea though. It gave me a project to work on during my shift rotation while trying to stay awake all night.

Thanks for the awesome idea! I made one yesterday and it worked out great. I used a hand drill so I had to do quite a bit of cleanup with files to make it look perfect. I did 10 holes drilled 3" apart and I barely have enough room for my bigger impact guns, I can't put two bigger guns next to each other, next time I'll do 3 1/4" or 3 1/2" apart.

Great idea! I bought a boxed set about 8 years ago for a remodel then boxed them back up when we moved to your neck of the woods. And there they sat in that big 3'X3'X16" plastic case for five years, until I dug them out for a project and now they just get moved around with no place to go. Any issues with the weight of the tools 6 months+ later?

I love this idea! I was initially going to spend money on the connections that attach to the counterpart and fasten those to keep them in place...but this seems to be less money .... I may make subtle changes like a small flap that overlays the slots so that it keeps some dust and dirt out more. I don't have a dust collection system or air cleaner YET....but this will definitely be useful. Thanks SO much for sharing this.

Very nice. My only concern is that with the couplings upright it would be very easy for sawdust and such to get in there and clog up the works. Maybe adding a long flap of some flexible material along the top edge to keep out debris?
@TabLeft9 жыл бұрын
+robert montalbano I thought about that too, my hope is that the top of the PVC which still covers it will help mitigate that.
