Wayne - you are doing the 12 month build judging by the number of stages in each pack. Worth pointing that out to people who might otherwise go for the 24 month build (as I am doing with the IXO build where we don’t have any other option!).

Looks like the first difference I've seen between this kit and the IXO kit is in this kit the velocity stacks don't have the hole for the screws and the pack omits the extra throttle linkage that was later removed on the IXO kit

Next time they will probably make you connect the electric cables to the sparkplugs. You should try that trick you used some time ago on another engine build by putting aluminum strings inside the hoses used to connect the sparkplugs, it allowed you to safely bend those hoses (without tight folds), leave them in a tidy shape and have also a nice visual effect at the end. You should try to use some more common electric cables for that: cut the insulation open and separate those thin copper strings inside, some 2.5 mm standard electrical cables should have strings with the right diameter for the job.

In terms of guessing what's under the blanket, the shape over the head is wrong for the Xenomorph. It could be C3PO or a Cylone.

Kevin Kilford is on about issue49or 50 of the1:2scale Alien build. He says it's bigger than the1:2 Terminator BUT the upper legs hav limited movement. So you can move them but not by much which is serious design flaw by the model manufacturers of this build

I don't suppose order you make the major modules matters /too/ much as long as each module is in the right order and then the modules fitted together in the right order.

That cover hides a model rocket. The SpaceX “Starship”. And maybe its First Stage Booster. And wouldn’t it be really neat if it was made from recycled. Stainless steel from the real things?
