Hello Wayne, my best whishes to your parents for their 60th wedding-anyversary ❣ Here in Germany we call it : diamond wedding (25 years = silver, 50 = golden) 🙂 Hope you will have a nice and healthy day and a gratulation card from the Queen. (i think there will be someone to watch those special dates) 🙂 As allways it was a nice and explaining video. I'm watching all of yours but not everything gets a comment. Mostly due to lazyness than to critics 😆 Stay as you are, keeo on producing and mostly stay HEALTHY . Yours Volker 🙂👍

This build is crazy just like you have said with what would be no build issue's than MEGA build final issue's. Loving the build as all ways. Stay safe all.

Looking below I commented on this four months ago. The manufacturers need to release more vintage car models like this, the Jaguar E Type you built, and more movie / TV tie ins. Inspector Morse' Jaguar would be fab :) Also the Thomas Crown Affair's Rolls Royce Silver Shadow, etc. Even Lady Penelope's Rolls from Thunderbirds - they could have real fun designing that!

Hi Wayne, Thank you so much for the info on Mike Lane's Mods!, Just ordered the badge pack for my DB5, can not wait to see the result......Cheers!

Hi Wayne, if you have problems getting the front wings and rear body to fit to the chassis it can be overcome by using a 6 mm drill to counter bore the location holes on the 6 front and 6 rear location posts. I just used a drill chuck by hand. Keep up the good work on your build videos. I am really enjoying them.

Insulation tape probably to stop terminals shorting out on metal chassis and also won’t be as easy to load injector seat when body on

Masking tape will do the job

The ejector tab that gets pressed down. If you were to glue a spacer between them, it should allow the shifter knob to press it down farther. If there is room to.

It actually works better when it’s attached to the Chassis

I’m assuming the big expensive parts are left to the end to avoid the costs of sending them out to people who cancel the subscription before the end. That way the higher profits on small stages subsidises the cost of the big stuff. Wouldn’t surprise me if they actually manufactured fewer chassis units than earlier stage components.

I prefer the XXX Dodge Charger way of naming the screw types, with two letters so you always knew the second letter meant it went into Plastic (P) or Metal (M). This way you have to know - good luck if the instructions are as inaccurate as they seem to be.

Wayne should the wires that are routed underneath the steering column be rerouted to go over the steering column? that way they are tucked up higher under the dash.
@WorldofWayneUK2 жыл бұрын
I don’t think it matters as long as they don’t hang down to where the pedal are.

Any news on the Peugeot 205? It was getting close to completion that one but it feels like there's been no update for a while. Oh and happy anniversary to your folks. My grandparents celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in 2010 and we were grateful that they were able to do so, especially now they're both gone sadly. No letter from the Queen for them but then again they were French... ;)

Hello, Wayne, your series is brilliant, mate! You've got me hooked into the world of HUGE HEAVY METAL MODELS! I have a quick question that perhaps I should address to you directly, if that's possible: what sort of oil might you use? In the states, I tend to use '3 in 1 oil' or mineral oil. But perhaps there's a recommended oil, as I've not know the trick of dipping the screw in oil before, although I should have by now in my arc of life....
@WorldofWayneUK2 жыл бұрын
Yep I use a 3 in 1 oil
