I’m really not criticizing but at the beginning you had small drawers with no labels and at the end you had large drawers WITH labels. The labels are what makes the difference. P.S.: Good job on the cabinet. Your video production is very professional.

It sounds like Robert would have been a very interesting bloke to know. Such a shame that he's gone but at least he'll be remembered. Cheers Tom and thanks.

Love it! I use the HF bins, too -- for my shop and for the kids' Legos. :). When I was growing up my dad's basement shop had the jelly jar storage method. He had his slats with the lids screwed to them mounted to the floor joists overhead all around his workbench. His jars were not labeled and they were all different sizes. He also had shelves full of metal coffee cans for storing nails, screws, and miscellaneous parts.

Think this will be my next parts bin evolution lol… I bought 3 of the harbor freight 5 tray caddies and about filled them completely with just what I had laying around in my many failed storage attempts.

I kinda did the same, but then when you go to buy more of the same storage bins, they change the design and size.

I do it your way. Similar items get grouped in plastic boxes with dividers. I don't understand the appeal of the jar system.

Jars are not a great method but I wouldn't be surprised if Robert started his jar collection before I was born ;-)
