Wow! All of a sudden it looks like a car! Just on a side note, winter came last night. Got over a foot of snow! No snow on the ground yesterday, over a foot today! It’s gotten warmer, -3C today, last few days were -10C and colder. Model on!

I went to visit a friend over Christmas & New Year and his Dad has a 1970 Aston Martin. I told him "Hey Frank, why don't you drive us around the block. I've never been in an Aston Martin." He said "And you won't be on this trip, mate." LOL - PROTIP: For model cars get some Nu Finish car polish and polish the model car like you would you real car - it will look amazing and help keep dust off it.

Wayne, these packs come still with the weekly newsagents pick ups in mind. Thus, even though you might not touch a stage/part, for a weekly customer each pack should be of the same value, or close to it. They try to spread the cost of the model across all packs. If they did per instruction, one week my pack would have only plastic pieces in, the next all metal. One pack might be worth a lot less than the RRP, the next a lot more than the RRP. I’m sure they’d get in trouble for selling a pack that’s worth less than the £8.99/£13.99 or whatever that model per pack cost is. Regulations

Wayne, I bought this DB5 what back when it first came out and was not confident enough to build it so was keeping it until my grandson was able to build it on his own - he is now 12. However your videos have changed all that and we started on it together a few weeks back. Thank you so much for easy to follow instructions and your relaxed presentation style. The only question is now - who gets to keep the completed model! Thanks again Paul

Hello wayne Again I remember when i built mine i wish i could start this again and with the skill i`ve learnt i would do a much better job. I remember i was impaitiant couldn`t wait for the next part. i still have it on display it is impressive. Soon after that i got a note from eaglemoss to ask if i wanted to build the Nissan GTR Which i also did. Boy what a model that is. I have enjoyed this video along with all the others you do. can`t wait for the finish good luck with the wireing. Steve

Looks like you’ve been quite lucky with the paint colour matching between the different parts of the bodywork. Some of the completed builds I’ve seen have been horrendous.

On the DB5 that Sean Connery drives there is what looks like little amber indicators on the front wings beside the side strakes. They seem to be missing from the build. You’ll notice it when Bond is first introduced to the car but most notably after he takes out Tilly Masterton in the Mustang with the tyre slasher.

Hi Wayne, I know this is not your model but I would suggest painting that silver bit of plastic the grill slots in to, it was a real bug of mine that it was visible through the grill and there was no detail to it so I opted to obscure it by painting it black

I Just Fort You Should No Wayne That When You Put The Front Section On The Bonnet The Screws Are Not Long Enough Secure it From Underneath do not put to much pressure on it because the wind screen brakes A lot of people have had problems with this Section I still have not found A Solution For the Screw Problem Good luck

I can not get the electrics to work I’ve caught one of the white plugs that connects the wires together an it has pulled the wire off the switch. I’ve tried buying some wire to reconnect it together but it’s no joy. It was all working up until this happened. I watched you videos an you mentioned that the key that you insert into the dash can some times be a problem. I’m just lost as where to go next. It’s my dads car he bought the books an I did the building. He’s never heard it running I would like to get it finished for him but I’ve miss placed the books so I’m not confident with stripping the car any further back to explore the problem. I would be willing to pay someone to get it working but as it’s a part works books model no one seems interested. Any help you can provide is greatly appreciate.

@@simonhinson9367 cut the plug off and replace with another JST connector . Do a search on eBay . You want the mini ones I believe. The I inserted key just makes the engine noise come on

So the key has nothing to do with the lights or anything ?? As I’m currently getting nothing from the car. Do you know what gauge wire I need please as the tired to find some but come up short. I just thought if I could get some wire any would do I got the smallest gauge I could find but it’s still bigger than what’s on the model. Many thanks for you help an advice it’s greatly appreciated.
