Hi Wayne, stage 64 are the track tensioners. They should spring outwards to keep the track under tension. I found that they gave a better tension if you fitted them the wrong way round. I.e. left to right.

Hey Wayne 🙂those tensioner spring set ups should actually have 243 loctite on the screws and left juuuust undone to allow free movement 👍

@@bedfordshiremodeller4491 nah definitely not oil, by leaving the screw just loose and having the joint movable like it's needed so it can operate, that will let the screw work itself out, by using loctite, it will stop it where you set and not eventually fall out👍

This one is long time coming.The Leopard 2 tank is actually one of the best tanks in the world at the moment and this build shows it off really well. Those are track tensioner wheels.

im already long busy with rc tanks wayne, you do what you want with this build but for the smoker.... as its standard in most rc tank manyfactures and its bad. i use 60 precent of babyoil and 40 of sunfloweroil

When you mounted the rear lenses in one side it looked like the indicator was towards the middle of the tank the other points towards the side, I maybe wrong but I would assume that the orange lenses should both be the outer most lense. Also it looks like there are three leds on the circuit board, maybe worth checking that they are not sided. Doesn't make sense that they don't light any thing up but you have three slots in each lense that you installed first.... Just a thought.

Looks great you just need a1:18scale 3D printed figure to fit inside whereby he sits just behind the main cannon itself

Errrm it is 1/16th scale, and you can get figures in that scale. Can't recall the company that does them off hand. But they also have lots of Rc tanks as well.

Hang on a moment, at one stage you fill the smoke unit with smoke oil, and in the next stage you are turning the tank on its side to fit the metal wheels to the front part. Didn't the smoke oil come out of the smoke unit?

Did some of the smoke oil spill out while you had the bottom half of the tank on it's side to attach the wheels? I noticed some pale green spots along the bottom of the tank after that point.

No. I didn’t put that much in here. That colour you see was there from pack 1

Hmmm... at the very beginning of this you say this is pack 8, but the video title says this is pack 7. So are we actually doing number 6 or 9?

This is definitely for pack 8 not 7. The pack number in the title is wrong as the previous pack video was for pack 7 ending at stage 60.

I don't get the thought process behind this! lets give you parts to put on, and then at a much later stage in the build, we ask you to take them off again, because we have given you parts that we ought to have given you before, that won't go on unless you take parts off. Totaly nuts way to make something!
